Exhibit CJim Nabors Sings Love Me With All Your Heart

Although not from Indiana, this beloved and honorary Hoosier has been singing Back Home Again at the opening ceremonies of the Indy 500 almost every year since I was not quite 2 years old.  The day would not be the same without him.

I have always been a wand'rer
Over land and sea
Yet a moonbeam on the water
Casts a spell o'er me
A vision fair I see
Again I seem to be

Back home again in Indiana,
And it seems that I can see
The gleaming candlelight, still shining bright,
Through the sycamores for me.
The new-mown hay sends all its fragrance
From the fields I used to roam.
When I dream about the moonlight on the Wabash,
Then I long for my Indiana home.

Fancy paints on mem'ry's canvas
Scenes that we hold dear
We recall them in days after
Clearly they appear
And often times I see
A scene that's dear to me

Ya, Gomer singing "Back Home Again In Indiana" is an Indy 500 tradition for as long as I can remember though I was 10 when he started singing it....

It was kind of cool when the audiance sang it to him when he missed the race.

Can you imagine someone asking an entertainer to sing at an event just before he / she is to go on today?
