Neil Diamond

Yes, I have Neil Diamond on my iPod.  He holds a special place in my childhood heart (a gift from my parents), and he was my first live concert at age 9.  And, in the words of one of my favorite Bill Murray characters -  Bob Wiley:  "There are two types of people in this world:  Those who like Neil Diamond, and those who don't."

I love him.

Money talks

But it don't sing and dance

And it don't walk

And long as I can have you here with me

I'd much rather be

Forever in blue jeans

Honey's sweet

But it ain't nothin' next to baby's treat

And if you pardon me

I'd like to say

We'll do okay

Forever in blue jeans

Maybe tonight

Maybe tonight, you and I

All alone by the fire

Nothing around

But the sound of my heart

And your sighs

Money talks

But it don't sing and dance

And it don't walk

And long as I can have you here with me

I'd much rather be

Forever in blue jeans, babe

I'll admit it.  I like Neil Diamond.  We saw him in Indy at Market Square Arena back in the 80's and had a great time.  We don't have too many of his albums / CDs but I really like Hot August Night.

I am with you Amy.. Love Him..

His last CD was a major disappointment though.  I am not so sure what to expect from him at this stage of his career.  I sing a few tunes of his Karaoke/ Neil style.. It's awesome..to do.
