September 2011 - Posts

This country mouse is heading to town tomorrow until next Tuesday, my first trip to the Big Apple to be exact. Well, I did go there when I was six years old as a flower girl for my uncle's wedding, but the only thing I remember is getting plowed on non-guarded champagne. Hey, it tasted like fizzy grape juice! My primary purpose will be a Klipsch event celebrating the launch of several upcoming products, but I will be able to sneak some touring time in as well.

This one isn't mine, but I hope to have many by this time next week. Fingers crossed I don't get lost.

It's been a while since I've gotten a chance to post critters at Klipsch! This quiet fella was perched outside Jill's office window this morning. It was drizzling, so I made do with my limited view from the inside. Because if I wander out in the rain, my hair just ain't gonna look right

I can't listen to this song from The Asteroids Galaxy Tour without wanting to grab a Heine.

Has commercialism infiltrated my brain? Perhaps. At least it's exposed me to some fun music.

These just arrived from the printer. Not sure if this means I need to get a life, but I was actually excited! About a poster! I need to get out more.

I'm not entirely sure how we found our way into the Major Taylor Velodrome, but there we are. I'm sure Trey can tell us the story. He has a way of getting our name in the most random of places like no one I have ever seen.

Of course, seeing this photo prompted me to do a bit of research. It seems Marian University has recently taken on managing the velodrome and surrounding compound, which has an interesting place in Hoosier history itself, if you care to read about such things.

Thanks for the pic, Trey!
