Not to be confused with the dental procedure, this rapidly rising band captured my interest from the first moment they shouted "HO HEY" at me. With the subsequent release of the amazing "Stubborn Love", they solidified their place in music history by NOT becoming a one-hit wonder. And now they have 2 Grammy noms under their belt for Best New Artist and Best Americana Album. Which I honestly didn't even know the latter was a category. Is that new?

Regardless, they deserve it. The entire album is a joy, even when it's depressing. Which I suppose is a feat in itself, if you think about it. For instance, the last song on the album -- "Morning Song". Wow, is it sad. Nothing like the toe-tapping HO HEY. But I love it just the same.

The carbonation in my drink
The bubbles rise while my heart sinks
And all I tend to do is think of you.

It gets worse from there...or better, depending on your state of mind. Anyway, listen for yourself. Disclaimer: may induce sadness.
