Years ago, my mom told me that she believes I have an "old soul." At the time I wasn't sure what she meant, but I think I understand now. It's the eyes, which Steven got from me, which were my dad's. I'm pretty sure he got them from my grandma. So when I look at him close enough, it seems as though he's looking through our collective past. I think that's maybe what my mom meant. Or maybe she just meant that I was a fuddy-duddy even way back then.

Either way, I find it very cute that sometimes I catch Steven staring at me, and when I ask him if I have something on my face, he'll say in his wise-voice which always surprises me, "We have Grammpa's eyes."

PWK: Caption Contest II

Funniest or most clever entry in the comments section wins a Klipsch-prize:

Guest Blogger: Sante Fe, New Mexico Klipschorn

Today's guest blogger is Iain, aka seti, a four and a half year Klipsch forum member from Arkansas with over 4800 informative, helpful, and occasionally whimsical posts.

This is a Klipschorn that I get asked about very often. I have tried to find more information regarding its history and current location but haven't learned anything new. According to Jim Hunter it was a custom Klipschorn enclosure built in Sante Fe, NM. The enclosure was not made by Klipsch, and was in the early days of the company when they were largely decorator. If you wanted them to look nice you hired someone to make them fit into your homes decor. If this is what their Klipschorn looked like just image what the rest of their home was like!

Every 6 months or so, we are given an optional free health screening, which analyzes our physical condition, tells us what we need to work on and monitors our progress as time goes by. from their website). The green highlighted foods are ok to eat, yellow = eat sparingly, and red = "whatever you do, don't let your lips touch this food."

The page on the left is the tail end of the KFC menu. The one on the right--Krispy Kreme. Drat!

Prototypes Named Jeff

Daily Photo

When working with cabinets and woofers and wiring all day long, I guess you need an outlet for humor. Despite the unseasonal weather keeping me out of the holiday mood, I'm going to try very hard to be disciplined and start my shopping now, especially considering most of the gifts I select are the creative-type that take weeks to put together.

In that spirit, I'll do my part in helping everyone start early -- especially if you are shopping online this year. Our holiday specials have kicked off with our first offering: the Klipsch Custom 1 in-ear headphones for $99 (that's a $30 savings and free ground shipping). Just enter coupon code "holiday deal" to get the special price.

We have much more to come, and I'll be sure to alert you to the deals as they come in. Perfect for the Klipsch-lover in your household (even if it's just you)!

Thomas the Tank Engine

Daily Photo

Some of you were curious what the little feller dressed as last week, so here you go. in the democratic process, but it came out more like an adult in a Charlie Brown cartoon: "wah, wah, wah." Then I realized: I am 100% drained of all things electoral. I cannot possibly read one more word about it, let alone write.

So here is a much better post, of Paul Klipsch looking very Howard Hughes-ish. Without that whole recluse-obsessive-compulsive-billionaire-Hollywood thing going on, of course.
