The days there were some of the most memorable of my life. Sitting in Paul's office and talking one on one and trying to grasp a portion of the information he was giving me was like has been said, trying to drink from a fire hydrant. I surely will never forget that day. Some of the other memories include the party at Paul's home and him taking me outside and showing me in detail his model train setup. The company also had a picnic for us with some real home cookin. They also set up the new prototype moltengator[spelling} concert speakers and demonstrated them with some live bluegrass. I also spent some time at THE APARTMENT and signed the guestbook. We also ate dinner at (the jail) and lunch at a family style restaurant which was actually an old house in the village of Washington. One of the other very special things we did was to have everyone including the company employees have a part in the building of a milestone numbered Klipschorn. Some put in a screw others applied glue as i did and everybody signed the inside of the speaker.I almost got to go up with Paul in his airplane but when we got to the airfield the mechanic was working on the plane so we couldn't fly. I actually think i felt a little relieved. To top off this remarkable time, as i was preparing to leave, Paul put his hand on my shoulder and thanked me for coming. Wow! Having sold Klipsch at the retail level for 35 years and seeing the 1976 company photo sure has given me a lot of wonderful memories to reflect back on.
