    WTB: RC-64

I'm looking to buy the RC-64 center channel picture. Prefer it to cosmetically be flawless but a few dings or scratches are ok. I want/need the sound to be flawless however. I live in Binghamton, NY, I would pay for shipping, I just really want this center channel. The cheapest I've found it locally is NIB for $625 through a local Klipsch dealer so anything under that would be considered immediately. Thanks!

To me, this is a no brainer... You can buy it brand new in the box from an authorized dealer, with warranty for $625, without paying shipping.. VS.. Getting a better deal for $500, but you have to pay for shipping, which is probably an extra $50-75, plus it's more than likely going to get destroyed by Fedex or UPS.. Buy the RC-64 brand new in the box for $625 with warranty and don't look back! That's a great deal..

That's what I've been thinking too. I just kind of want one a lot cheaper because I'm working on two systems right now. I have the RT-10D and I want to go reference all around for my upstairs room because downstairs I'm using Source Technologies and they're simply phenomenal; but my love for Klipsch has me wanting to have a reference system upstairs as well (in a spare bedroom being turned into a medium sized man cave lol). I'll probably end up going with the one from the dealer but if by chance (and luck) someone has the RC-64 for under $500 I'd do that probably in a heart beat.

    Re: WTB: RC-64

Thanks, audioclassics.com did not have any listed, but I emailed them. The ebay link has ended, but he may have more available. I hate buying from  ebay, The las thing I bought from a Canadian ebayer was a Cleveland Driver(golf) and it ended up to be counterfeit. I sent it into the company because something broke loose inside the head. They ended up keeping the club, and I lost out.

    thanks

One word of caution.  The RC-64 doesn't do well in shipping.  This is where it is a good idea to buy from an authorized dealer.  We have seen many RC-64's get destroyed from the inside due to the speaker magnet breaking loose from the plastic basket and beats the inside of the cabinet and components to shreds.  When I purchased mine through an authorized dealer, it was shipped on a pallet which is the best way.  Good luck.

Call them via the 607 number or their 1800 number. Ask if they have the RC 64 in, he'll say yes, say you can buy at a low price of $625 and bam. You can set it up. They don't have actual in stock items always on their site. They're not too computer suavy.

    FYI

I got an email back from Mike at audioclasics. He said he has them for $629.00. Free shipping. I did email him back to check out if he insures the shipment from damage.  I will let you know. I think I may get one if I can sneek $630 bucks from savings.  Wife you know....
