     ohh, about the speaker connection. i have never seen anyting like it. what's the proper the way to connect the speakers. right now, i got the bare-wire wrapped around the screw, and it seems to do the job. any suggestion?

     Now you done opened up a can of worms. I'm betting a number of people will chime in here.

     Wire around the screw works fine. As do crimp on connectors (circle or horseshoe), or soldered connectors, or... 

     Congrats on the score. They look quite nice.

    i got to say a big thanks to Noah for showing me the way.

    and shout out to Youthman and Wuzzzer for their traditions of scoring BIG for cheap. :)

    i just listenened for another 30min of classic rocks, and i am amazed. the more i listen, the more i want.

    btw, i am driving these with an old Yammie AX596 which I have not touch for years.

    One of the nicer $500 pairs I've seen! Only thing I ever find around here are Cornwalls that have been used as bar stools, painted with black latex, covered with formica, or owned by a lady with 47 hairy dogs who used the grills and woofers to mark their territory! LOLOL!!!

    Use "forks" to connect. Radio Shack specials for about $0.99.....

    thanks. that's what i saw the previous owner use to connect, fork.

    i was shocked to see him use what seems like 24 gaugue speaker wires. he said there's no need to use anything bigger since these speakers are supper efficient.

    is this true? i always thought, the bigger the better.

    Congrats, you give me continued hope that some natural finish LSI's for a great deal are still out there somewhere for me.
