Best of luck, these are quite rare.  I have some CF3s and love them.  I would jump on another pair in a second if the price was reasonable, but I REALLY want some KLF30s in mahagony.    Perhaps someday my ship wil come in.

    Good luck.

    Currently:
    Flawless Oiled Walnut Fortes.
    Cherry CF3s..near new condition.
    Tangents
    4 KSB 1s
Original Advents with the nice cabinets - Mint.
    ProMedia Innernet speekirs.
Old, fairly high quality 2 channel stuff to drive.
Bad Hearing, halitosis, nasal hair, TF

Wish list and searching for: Mahogany or Cherry KLF 30s (or 20s), Walnut Cornwall's, Walnut Forte IIs, RB35s.

I would probably consider series 2 & 3 also. They are out there and I have time to wait.

I don't know if you guys are aware of the site audiogon.com, but that is the first place I always look for audio gear. There are 2 pair of Epics that have been up there for quite some time, though both are CF3's.. One pair is for sure version 1. Both are at screaming deals. I have Cf3's, version 1's and love them.

Hi,  I have a pair of early CF-2s that I believe are the most sought after versions.  Please PM me and we can arrange a conversation if you like.

Some time ago, some research was done as follows:

    "....Fred,
Thanks for your reply. My wife and I have had a pair of the later version CF-2s for many years.  Upon request, Klipsch sent me a download on the differences which I will forward to you.  According to that, they didn't start making them until the spring of 94--your serial number is for 93.  The other distintuishing marks of the earlier versions, which are supposed to be quite a bit better, are a gray colored horn in the center and a five inch plastic port at the bottom. From what I've read, the earlier two versions are supposed to have been some of the best jazz and classical speakers ever made.

    Are they the right ones?
