I had the sub in my hands, and i personally think that it is a pretty much beated up sub, unfortunately. When i first got there i thought it was a set up and i was going to be robbed. DO NOT GO THERE TONIGHT, FOR GODS SAKE. 

My first view was two kittens inside of the cabinet playing, it was a bad view, missing the passive driver, now i know better, big holes where the screens take place, no grill, cabinet is scratchy, front plate scratch, no way to hook it up, I broght my own power cord just in case and i could turn it on but that was all. The guy refused to hook it up, so when i got the impression that the amp is bad, he didn't want to hook it up!!! HE TOLD SOMETHING ELSE TO MICHAEL AS HE STATED ON THIS FORUM!!!

 Worth the money, sure is, but let's say it got a bad amp, after all needed parts replaced you will be at close to $500.00, and what if when it is done, it doesn't sound right because of structural cabinet problems??

 When i was there i got a feeling that the whole thing was a set up, very low price, the seller is a liar, his name is Tim actually, i was able to caught him in many lies,.... and it goes on an on. I just didn't want to go through all disfortune of doing all the working and spending the money to turn out to be a dead end anyway, i would not recommend.

I was over in Tampa tonight picking up my wife from the airport.  Tim called me wanting to meet up.  He seemed pretty interested (desperate) to sell it.  He was willing to meet me at Bruce B Downs by the VA Hospital but I did not have enough time to meet with him before picking up my wife.  She had a 4 hour layover so I knew she would not in the slightest be interested in checking out any speakers with me. 

He said he is working all day tomorow until late and could not bring it to work with him. Rennoc, it doesn't look like I will be able to meet up with him before you are able make the drive on Saturday if you are still interested.  

He is about 3 miles from my house. Nothing i wanna fool with.

 Now i laught about too, but at the moment was a bad moment!! It is amazing HOW A GREAT DEAL OF $60 is taking so long to sell.

 I am wondering, as you said that he is desperate to sell already, how many people he has met who turned him down!!
