CENTERED ABOUT 475 MILES SOUTH OF BERMUDA. THIS SYSTEM IS MOVING
WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH WITH MINIMAL SHOWER ACTIVITY. UPPER-LEVEL
WINDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY FAVORABLE FOR SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT.
THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...LESS THAN 30 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM
BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.

2. A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED ABOUT 950 MILES WEST OF THE
SOUTHERNMOST CAPE VERDE ISLANDS CONTINUES TO SHOW SIGNS OF
ORGANIZATION. WHILE UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE ONLY MARGINALLY
FAVORABLE...SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE AS IT
MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT AROUND 10 MPH OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF

Greg...if you get down to Miami and are looking for a good meal and some good atmosphere, go to Smith and Wollensky...best steakhouse I have ever been to and right on the port...if you hit it up and Fridays you can see all the cruise lines leaving port...pretty cool from about 100 feet off the patio.  Good food, a bit pricey (but you are in Miami) and pretty casual too...I have been there in jeans and a t-shirt and no one looks at you like you are stupid and they make good stiff drinks :P

Still quiet.

But then again, the southeast is getting massive rains which by all accounts are causing about as much damage as hurricanes.....

If we can just get into October without a tropical storm, the statistical odds drop down to a much more acceptable level.

Nothing again today; there's a possible system off the African coast, but they don't give it much chance at the moment.
