Just joined today and Im unable to find the method for uploading my picture for my profile page, thank you! 

Click on "edit profile" on the top right by your username.

Then click on the "avatar" tab.  Then you can upload a pic from your computer or link to a hosted image.

Not sure but there may (likely) be a file/pixel size limit.
