This was the idea from the get go. I used Cornwalls at first then changed to the la Scalas.. I was very lucky to find 8 of them all with the same crossovers and all built the same year. They are also the split versions so they are toed into a sweetspot perfectly and the ones in the rears are also on top of Cornwalls (used as a karaoke system) so they are above your head, again toed in, so they envelope you with sound too.
I have K horns upstairs, and if you get used to that bigger midrange horn and do not use K horns in your HT, trust me... The La Scala will be your choice, period! Just add the propper sub, and it will be a home run!
