Mine was used. No jumpers were included. Is Romex the correct thickness? I have some I could try.
I think some units had a back-panel switch connecting internal jumpers.

They have sweet little jumpsuits.

Audioquest makes, or used to make, a very handy very short little pair, which keeps the clutter way down. The sonic quality is very good, and, yes, quality can make a difference even as short as they are.
I had a JVC that used jumpers between the pre and amp. They consisted of only the center pins, with no shield.
I believe those were widely used back then. The ones I saw were generic metal (I was told steel). The AQ's were a notable improvement in spite of the very short length, when I compared them.
Larry, these are probably similar to what you are talking about. Several of them being sold on Ebay as well
Similar, except the ones I saw long ago really looked like steel, like big staples, and I know the Audioquests sounded better than those.
I live in townhouse and the only wall I could use is 11' wall I share with my neighbors which means woofers will be firing directly at them. Still may go for it. Have one full day to agonize over a decision....
FWIW, my K's are in the corners of an 11' wall at one end of my living room. True, they don't couple well with the room, but that's what I have to work with, and I think they sound very good. There is adequate room between them
Sound-wise, I pit it up against reality, because that's what it sounds like with the right source material.
Good outcome! System synergy is so very hard to attain, sometimes takes several tries. I've heard more than a few spendy setups, some in stores, that don't have it.

Somewhere long ago, I saw two Klipsch mahogany designations -- M7 and M2. M7 was supposed to be dark, and M2 much lighter. Frzninvt on the forum probably knows.
I've been hearing a lot of good things about that PureMusic. Since I got a new MacBook Pro earlier this spring, I still have my old one, and it works perfectly fine. I think I may "repurpose" it as a music server and try out this PureMusic. Granted, at $129, it is not exactly "cheap", but not to terribly expensive either.
I forgot to mention I also have PureMusic on my MacBook Pro, which is probably partly responsible for the fine sound
I've read a lot of positive reviews on the DRAGONFLY DAC .
Yeah, it really caught on in a hurry with reviewers, so I got one for my MacBook Pro. I used that combo with Pro-media 2.1's to play some of a Monteverdi Vespers DVD (recorded in the San Marco basilica) to a group of 150-200 in a large meeting room. It sounded gorgeous! The Dragonfly simply fits right in without taking up additional space, and that's very nice. I didn't do a Dragonfly
