I picked up a pair of these in the LA area about 2 years ago for $150. The seller had these connected to an integrated tube amp (Cayin I think) in a small room and the sound was IMPRESSIVE. At that price range, or close to it, these are some of the better value speakers around. I have only used them with SS receivers but have still get pretty nice sound. I'll say it again, the KG4 is a great value.
It takes a lot of money in this hobby to learn that you don't have to spend a lot of money.
That's classic!! That should be engraved in granite somewhere!!! Or at least place it in your signature...

How many of the "standard" copper Klipsch badges to you have left? I'm not even sure how many I need but I do have several speakers that are either missing a logo, or could use a shiny new one.

I have a Cary SLP-94L along with the Peach and even a Peach II that I have yet to take out of the box. In fact, I also have an SLP-70. All are very nice sounding preamps. While I never did a direct comparison, I think I would say that these preamps are in the same league. When I got the Peach, I took the SLP-94 out of my main system. Again, I can't say I did a direct comparison as I would be relying on my memory for that, but the sound certainly didn't degrade when the Peach was inserted
Jump on the 1250 deal before somebody else does.Hint- they ain't making any more of them
That one actually comes with the wood case which was about a $200 option, so that actually is a very good price considering these things are not being made any more. You might want to jump on it before it's too late.
Is it possible that more than one person felt obliged to put white paint on a pair of beautiful speakers?
Yep! I've seen two pairs in person that look like that.
