Auction did you say? Contain that enthusiasm and get into the auction mode. It is like poker. You mustn't give away your intentions by over exhibiting your zeal for the prize. They are no fools (I suspect) and will read the bidders with great scrutiny. Do your homework. Determine the real value of the place and define a maximum bid price (include any buyers premiums). Make certain the home has no deficiencies. You want the place only if it is in good shape and

Duder1982 - "Heres another you can see that the hole room is open on both sides one to ta hall and the other to the kitchen, that is why I think there might be a better spot for the sub." it looks like your sub is in a very good position. what some people do is they put their sub in their seating position then crawl on their hands and knees around the room and where your hear the most bass that would be the ideal spot to plave the sub.. I have never tried this but apparantly it is very

  • Re: TV stand for 65" plasma...and RC-7
Check out some local woodworkers, they could probably build you a custom piece for the same price you could find a pre-made model and it would probably be better quality. Worth a look, I think there are many furniture company's up in NC, check around ?
totally agree - this way you get exactly what you want also other suggestions would be to put the rc7 on its side next to the plasma but then you would probably want to turn the tweater 90degrees or maybe
The Rotel will probably give you a little better sound quality but it doesn't look like its packed with too many features. I'd hold out for a pre-amp that has HDMI like the new one that's coming out from Emotiva. That one looks like to be a HUGE bargain as far as cost/benefits.
i do like the emo preamp coming out and i do need to enquire if they would ship to Australia, i am using a Rotel poweramp 1075 5x120watts. i wonder how the emo preamp will

  • Re: New Klipsch Owner with a quick question..Please Help

i just read this thread.. i wonder how this one went.. another suggestion would be to swap surround speakers re the one on the left put to the right and visa versa, if this fixes the problem at that position then you would know it is the speaker, if it doesnt fix then you would know it is either the cable, the wiring or the setting on avr. let us know how you went edit - i just read that you had alreadt tried this and the weak one still sounded weak..
Does his room have good corners?
very funny. in difficult times it is often good humour that pulls us through the day. I am so glad to hear he is feeling better. My best wishes go to Tony and his loved ones.
