• Re: Image S4 ear gels too small, not the best fit

In the picture above with Andy you can see that the S4 fits quite tight (see arrow). The tragus (flap of skin to the right of the headphone) is in the way of the headphone chasis, thus this is an uncomfortable fit with the proper ear tip. In this picture of Sara you can see that the S4 fits quite nicely...

  • Re: Custom 3 cables

So, an update for those of you that follow this thread. I have been asked to send my IEMs into Micron Canada. I have been notified I will probably get my hardware back at the end of the month. I'm heading out of town next week and I intended to take my IEMs. Stupidly, I forgot to mention that in...

  • Re: Custon 2 & 3 differences?

Some of the earlier key information seems to be getting buried in all the posts. Such as this answer to your question. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/94657.aspx?PageIndex=4 How many arms do I need? Here is the lowdown as best as I can explain it without you having the earphone models in your ears...

  • Re: S4 3D Model

Here is a CAD model of my left ear canal. It may be hard to picture this, but you are looking at a view of the side, top and rear. It does not model the flex of the ear tip but you can imagine this occuring. Notice if the IEM was inserted slightly farther how the sound could be cut off by the ear canal...

  • Re: Is Klipsch considering on/over the ear headphones?

Vaporstang, First thing you have to realize is that Klipsch never makes comments about new product design until they are announce officially. If we let the cat out of the bag any earlier things get messy. People start to have a wait and see attitude and don't buy our current products. Some departments...

  • Critical Judgement

Some people ask.... which one is better? The IMAGES or the Custom-3s?? Well I'll tell you. When I wear the IMAGES, I'm like, "Thats amazing." and then I wear the Custom-3s, I'm like, "Thats amazing." Same thing. But when I compare the IMAGES and the Custom-3s, the Custom...

  • Re: question about the custom 3's..

Ahhh yes... We have been cooking up some new secret sauces which had tied me up a bit. It sounds like you have already figured out some of the secrets to C3's and how to use them. Indeed the cinch should minimize cable noise. This micro phonic effect is similar to the two cans with a string you may...

  • Re: Custom-3s on the way!

Congrats on your new C3 purchase! Thanks for supporting our new venture. The good news is now you can hear all the details of your recordings. This is also the bad news because poorly recorded files will sound like doggy dudu. You will also realize that you may need to re-rip some of your MP3 files because...

  • Re: My experiences with the Custom 3 headphones....
Thank you for the replies :) I waited a day before trying to use these again, gave my ears some time to heal from that. Tried them again with the large single flange, as it seems that in using that it doesn't keep slipping out of my left ear. I have to be careful...

  • Re: Silver Images??
Can't wait to try out all the models at the Pilgrimage. It'd be nice to compare all 5 models. Hopefully Professor Thump will post how the IMAGE X5 fits into the Klipsch IEM line. ...Wonder if Professor Thump has any more surprises for us next month?
...
