  • Found a new love...Forte II

I have never understood why Klipsch discontinued the Forte II and Quartet, both of these speaker have all the power, emotion and clarity Klipsch are famous for. I had Heresy II's and got the Forte II's in trade, the F II's needed some cabinet refinishing, when that was done, I ended up with...

  • Re: Heresey I and II mix and match

It looks like I got quite a few answers and a lot of information. Let me follow up. I have the Heresy I tweeters, woofers, and crossovers. Only the midranges have escaped me. I see that there is a fit issue. So, I have to look at that factor. Am I going to have to get new crossovers or modify what I...

  • Cornwall or Chorus or ?? Wanted in So. Cal.

The subject says it all. I'm looking to upgrade my 1980's college system and would like to start with the speakers. My Kg4s still sound nice, but it's time to upgrade. The heritage Klipsch are the only speakers I remember making a big impression on me the last time I went around listening...

  • Heresey I and II mix and match

Can one use Heresy II midranges in a set of Heresy I's? Would they be compatable? What would they do to (or for) the sound? I do not think it would be that hard to make a plate if necessary to allow the Heresy II midranges to be mounted in the Heresy I cabinets, should that be necessary. I know that...

  • 72 Vertical Cornwalls Restoration

Hey Guys! I'm fairly new to the forum minus doing some research with the search function ;-). So, I thought I'd just jump right in. I just recently purchased a matching set of '72 Vertical Cornwalls for $450 locally. I am thrilled with the way they sound. Makes me think about the days of...

  • Heresy

I hope I have not already asked this question. I have some Heresy (I) cabinets. So far, I have a pair of woofers and a pair of crossovers. I now only need the tweeters and the midranges. If anyone has a pair of good Heresy I tweeters or midranges or both for sale, I would be interested. However, my question...

  • Re: Has anybody ever added a Super Tweeter to their Klipsch speakers?

With the new titanium drivers in the HIII's I have no need for super tweeters, I get a real well balanced, abundance of high frequency information. Recently I inherited a pair of 1962 kHorns, they too have a sparkling high end. Geez, I like these speakers...
