• ifi Subwoofer

Does anybody have a replacement ifi subwoofer?? The postal service has lost mine and I'm in need of one. Also, can you hook up the ifi's reference speakers to a Promedia 2.1 subwoofer?? I'm sure the wattage is wrong but I was just in need of a replacement. Perhaps I'll just have to buy...

  • iFi iPod speakers

recently i have been experiencing a difficulty with my iFi speaker system. the one satellite speaker is functioning great and the quality is fantastic, the other, however, not so much. this rogue speaker makes a lot of static when playing music and the music comes in spurts that you can barely make out...

  • Re: i-Fi volume control malfunction

dbert -- thanks for the kind words and additional information on the MC86Hcrlk38%#82148$8* IC. Well, that's a surprise of sorts. I just took my dock apart and yep, that's a scary thing to see. That's basically a PLA, similar to a custom microprocessor circuit. Very complex internally -- which...

Hi dbert - Thanks for the comments and follow up. Well, a few to add, process of elimination and avoiding the grimbly. I received a response from Klipsch today re. volume issues. Their response to my request for service info. etc: "purchase a new dock" for $57. Provided they suggests takes...

  • Re: i-Fi volume control malfunction

hi there - new here, and yes, I have a iFi that is having the same problems with the iPod dock/volume. I think many have been asking the wrong questions here for some time. The issue is, what specifically is causing the problem and what can users do to rectify that problem. It's no benefit to speculate...

  • Suggestion for Klipsch on iFi and iPod 2g / 3g etc.

Hi, I just love my iFi. But as you know the newer iPods don't charge on them. Since the iFi has a built in dock, it makes the docking and music playing very handy. Maybe Klipsch would consider instead of making an adapter to go onto the existing dock, why not make a new dock entirely! You could sell...

  • Re: iFi Speaker Power Problem
What part of the "speaker" did you open up?
I have the same exact problem that the original post describes, though I have not taken it in to be fixed nor have I opened up the subwoofer. The subwoofer no longer powers on. I also left the iFi plugged in...

  • Mystery: iFi stopped working. iGroove lost sound on one side.

Though it had gotten light use, I had been a happy iFi owner for a year, when I bought my boyfriend an iGroove at the Apple store as a birthday gift last Feb. iFi: The subwoofer on my iFi stopped working shortly thereafter for no apparent reason. It was plugged into a surge protector and was used once...

  • Re: One of my iFi speakers doesn't work!

Wow, the same thing just happened to me ... I'm here to ask the same question. I tried all your troubleshooting items, and there's one more thing I tried: Only one channel works regardless of whether I'm playing an ipod through the dock, or if I'm using my computer's line out as the...

  • One of my iFi speakers doesn't work!

Hi, I'm having trouble with my right speaker on my iFi. It just stopped working one day. Here's what I did so far to troubleshoot, but I'd love your help: 1. Turned on and off the system. Result: no changes. 2. Switched the cables from the left speaker and right speaker. Result: no sound...
