  • Re: Modifying Cerwin Vega RE series speakers to Klipsch.

Hi, that is a great looking sub! what are the box dimensions / port diameter and length? Did you stuff it with insulation or anything? Do you know what it is tuned to or did you guess? I want to make one of these. I think the ported enclosure is way better than the sealed. I might build a pair of these...

  • RF-7 Project

Looking for some advise. I would like to build 2 new cabinets with 3 rf-7 woofers instead of the two. Maybe replacing the horns with the KLF-30's horns. Not sure if that would be the right move. Also I would need someone to make crossovers. Not even sure If this setup would sound excellent?? Has...

  • Short circuit in the system due to 220 voltage input installing in India

I'm a big fan of Klipsch so decided to get some klipsch product back home in India. I got Promedia 2.1 wireless. I got it from the US where the voltage input is 110v and tried to plug it in India where the voltage is 220. The subwoofer has a fuse that blew so I thought thats good that I just blew...

  • Re: wire change for LaScalas

Inspecting and cleaning the connections may be a good idea, along with checking the caps for leaks and hot spots on the boards. Caps detiorate over time, I had a bunch replaced on my Mac Stack at the factory. Doing some homework and replacing all of the caps may be a good and relatively inexpense project...

  • Sound cutting out when connecting igrooveHG to Sony NWZ-A845 walkman

I bought my igrooveHG to connect with my Sony MP3 player via the J-cup and 3.5mm jack. I am very pleased with the resulting sound. However, on occassion, I temporarily lose sound and the only possible cause I can think of is from quieter / low recording level songs originally downloaded from CD or CDr...

  • RF-7II and NAD T787

I am waiting on a pair of RF 7II's to arrive to use with my NAD T787, I am planning on bi-amping them and using it as a 5.1 receiver instead of 7.1. I'm wondering if this will power them properly? It's 120 watts per channel from what I've been reading so I was thinking that would double...
