    • A tube amp is a nice choice since the the sound can be tweaked a bit with tube rolling.  A nice tube amp adds to the listening environment.
    • Since slow now, would try your plan, rotating the SB to the rear thereby having all reference in package up front, as an experiment... listen for a time and, we can see what your results tell us  there @JJR64
    • My name is Schmidty. I was with a sound company in the mid 70s in Southern Illinois. We were Klipsch dealers. We dealt with Gary Gillum and John Fricks. Klipsch was just coming out with the MCM series. We had a customer hire us to install a sound system for his club just east of St. Louis. We went to Hope to pick up the prototypes to audition for the club owner. Needless to say he loved em. We did install serial #0001/0002. My question is does anybody have info on how to contact Gary? I would love to talk to him.  Thanks
    • Hey Guys, just a question or your opinion, I just got a R-52m center and R-41m bs. I was using a kv-2 center and SB-1 BS as front left & right speakers I use the  reference theater pack speakers as surround and Atoms speakers and sub, I have Denon 9.2 AVR and have it setup as a 5.1.4.  Want your opinion And I know that your opinions are subjective.Would you use the SB1 bookshelf speakers as the surround speakers?Or continue to use the theater reference speakers as the surround speakers? It's setup in a small room 10' w by 13' L
    • Mainframer - My 800 sound has a very similar Power supply to your 1200. There seems to be several bits (look above the transformer in both our photos) that you have in the 1200 vs our 800. Interesting.
    • Man what a s&**ty website. Looks like something from 1995.
    • Because the K510 is ugly and takes a 2” driver. Since it’s a CD type of horn it probably needs extra EQ to maintain a flat response in the higher frequencies.
    • I had a room that was around 28 x24 ft , using the long wall , my  Klipschorns  sounded awesome  , but the benefits of adding a center channel to a system with this much separation cannot be overemphasized . Klipschorns this far apart can benefit  with a Lascala or Bell at center . These three speakers working together  complement each other with their similar top tier capabilities and they provide the proper balance and coverage to the wide  front stage. The  brilliant Lascala  at center restores the knockout punch   of the Khorn that has been   compromised somewhat do to their excessive separation .A Lascala center will  cover the dreaded hole in the center that can form from overly wide spacing 🤓
    • I take it that the center channel talk is geared more for surround or movies?  I have a seprate room for that so I really don't want to use a center if I dont have to.
