    • It is similar to a flu, so if it enters ther would be high chances for getting it.   But similar to a flu, it will do damage to vulnerable groups, elderly, already sick, babies etc. Most poeple should be ok.   As for the packages from China, most viruses are very vulnerable to direct sun exposure. Some reading abut that wouldn't hurt. But when it is there, at the begining panic starts. For example, in northern Italy all counties are closed, schools etc, supermarkets emptied, prices of masks went sky high...

    • Hello Emile !!    The Latino ST-70, with minor mods, has the potential to display considerably more definition, and dynamic range contrasting, than the stock Latino amps do.    It is not uncommon for most commercially manufactured tube amps ( eg : Inspire, Decware, QuickSilver, Latino , etc. )  to need small mods, which they respond well to, to get them to play better.   The reason for this is very simple, and its usually not that the Manufacturers are dumb.   The Manufacturers have to compete with other Manufacturers, for YOUR stereo amplifier money.  This leads to them knowingly cutting costs, to remain priced fairly.   I suppose the saying is " There is no free lunch ".  Many amps need better execution, that............. is the usual situation.    Jeff Medwin
    • Michael, those are looking very, very nice.
    • This is what it's all about. It is actually easy to forget just how these walk all over most anything else. I had a friend over once and I was playing something and he looked at me and asked WHY they sounded so good. I spent the next 30 minutes explaining horn loading, lower distortion, efficiency, etc. The nice thing was, he actually gets it. 😉 👍
    • 😉 Actually added one about a month ago. Because playback sound is so clean, it is too easy to find yourself with the volume a bit too loud. Low level listening is very sweet. I don't usually have it very loud... you can't hear it from the street, but I could piss off the neighbors if I wanted to.
    • My hip replacement surgeries were performed in the surgical suite of an orthopedic clinic. Much less chance of a MRSA infection there than a hospital which is full of yes, sick people —
    • You're 70 miles from the Tail of the Dragon . Buy something fun and go have some fun .
    • We just experienced a price GAP, on the Dow Jones Chart , and ............in the Down Direction.   See History, all data below  :       The difference between 2020 and 1929, is that we are over - valued on a Price VS Earnings ratio, by about 50 percent more in 2020, than in 1929 ( see " D. Short Investment Advisers " web site, Jill Mislinsky's columns ),............ In 2020 Jill says we are in the 100th Percentile of 1871 - 2020 in stock valuations.    Note above circled data, on that ONLY other GAP DOWN in market history.   Dow Jones eventually dropped 84% in its value.  Draw your own conclusions.  Above is just the facts.   Things certainly change in 90 years, but the ONE common denominator is  :   it is PEOPLE buying and selling to psychological extremes of human greed and then human fear.   Jeffrey Medwin                       We have just had two days in a row of 3% or more down.  How does this relate historically ??     See 1%,  2%, and 3 % below, Thanks, Charlie :
    • 300 miles a day.  There are Teslas that can do that but you might be pushing it right now.  Any charging at your destination?  If so, the electric car should pay for itself rather quickly.    If not, get another Toyota.  You are driving about 75,000 miles a year so you will wear it out and then the electric cars will be ready for your mileage.    Test drive one anyway.  Quite an experience.
