the sonos amp will work, but the hk amp you mentioned would be better with the heresys. plug a sonos port into the hk and enjoy. an even better option would be to use a bluesound node for the same money. -
those are insignificant temperature differences. AND those temps are nothing. why are you so concerned with this? you definitely should be concerned with loss of hearing.

Yes of course...to foray into another manufacturers unit a minimum would be transposing the Xilica settings into the new unit and then a UMIK and REW. -
The settings "as is" would sound different in everyone's space as they were derived in the chamber. You need to adjust for the room unless you use the speakers outdoors. These Xilicas also have a graphic EQ section which I have used with great success in balancing the measurements within my room. As I recall it didn't take much. A few tweaks here and there. I haven't touched them in a long time. -
But you have to know how to use them. As I stated earlier I place a huge value on Klipsch support........providing the settings. YMMV.

I just wanted to state there are cheaper and as good or better solutions out there at present. Using better more current A/D and D/A converters, newer generation opamps and more state of the art DSP. Most have FIR capabilities as well.

That Scott 335 is an adaptor made to go with one of their Mono FM receivers and convert the signal to stereo. I might have to make you an offer on that thing. Get the Fisher up and running, plug it into the K-Horns, enjoy. Classic setup. -
Here's the pics I took of my 2 units...don't know or seem to have any control over the sequence of the posts... Make of it what you will....in my mind they are both genuine Xilica I inspected Part numbers on ICs with magnifying glass which you will not be able to make out in these pictures...they are IDENTICAL.
