I'm posting this with a heavy heart... Serious inquiries only please. Thanks for reading and understanding... 1. Dustpan and brush 2. Sponges 3. Dusters 4. Mop and bucket 5. Window cleaner 6. Vaccuum 7. Dishwashing liquid 8. Laundry detergent 9. Fabric softener 10. Laundry baskets 11. Toilet brush 12. Cleaning sprays 13. Scrubbing brushes Borrowed from Facebook. Hope it gives you a chuckle.

Been Lurking for some time now. I had a lower end system that I bought about 13 years ago. And because of this forum I decided it’s time for a new system. I keep hearing (reading) all great things about the Forte III. Earlier this week I made a 6 hour round trip to listen and possibly buy some Forte III. After just a few minutes of listening I knew these were the ones. Even my wife was impressed and she usually doesn’t care about stuff like this. Then of course i had to get a new receiver so I decided on a Denon AVR X3500H (plenty of a receiver for me). This system will hopefully last me a very long time. Next will be a new tv. My tv is about 15 years old but we don’t watch enough tv to justify getting one any time soon. We have never had cable or satellite. We do occasionally rent a movie. We just have music as background noise 24/7. Anyways thanks to this forum for leading me in the right direction. I’m giving my old system to my son. He just got his first apartment and is very excited. 😜 Old system: Pioneer 5960, Synergy F2’s, RC52 and a couple of Klipsch 12”sub.

I finally finished cutting my black granite slabs that I have had for almost a year now. Placed them on top of my 5 Chorus II's and my diy audio racks for a seamless look. The other 2 Chorus II's are in surround position with matching black granite tops. So what do you guys think? Do you like the look of black granite and walnut?

Mustering as much civility as I can: These are superstitions. The first claim is provably false, the second claim is a misstatement of what dither does, and believing otherwise will not change the facts no matter how forcefully anybody asserts those beliefs.

on my listening room. It was my workshop out behind my house, and I gathered free 3' x 4' plywood scraps for the interior walls. Really rugged, but so disjointed that I couldn't paint or anything. Bright idea.... Add 1" x 4" pine boards stained walnut as wainscoting and use painted paneling as in-between wall, attached directly to the plywood. This only brought the wall out 1/8 inch or so in the panel area, and meant I didn't have to move the Klipschorns in the process. Here's what it looks like tonight. I embedded a 2' x 4' LED ceiling fixture ("troffer" is the term) into the wall, which is dimmable. I then put a vinyl stained glass cling onto the back of a piece of plexiglas and framed around it like a window. Those wall hangings are old Klipsch ads. What do you think?

Because you won't find many of them at that price!

Okay, guys! I love Klipsch speakers and I only listen to Klipsch speakers. And I only collect Heritage. I currently have a total of 8 pairs of Heresies. I have too many Heresies! So in the spirit of giving, I'd to give away free two pairs of Heresies to members of the Klipsch forum (especially those who don't have Heresy and would like to listen to one). They are first come first serve. You would have to provide for transportation. Enjoy!

Linda Ronstat, bet that half-speed is smooth sounding! & a good trumpeter through Khorns... it's been so long that if I did not have the K-55V/K700 in the Supers I could not imagine how that experience would be. Good Stuff.

1967, 50+ years ago when these guys cranked out this, their first album, A LOT of cover songs on it. The Beatles, Sonny & Cher, The Zombies, Diana Ross &^ the Supremes ALL had hits "their" way. Vanilla Fudge played it THEIR way! Deep and heavy on the B-3/Leslie combo with outstanding vocals mixed in. A twist on the psychedelic West coast sound that worked since they drew quite the British following. Yes, Deep Purple, Styx, Uriah Heep along with Led Zeppelin were ALL influenced by them. Pretty crazy nuts to look back and hear someone say, "Yea, i remember when Led Zeppelin opened for us." They did though! "You Keep Me Hangin On," THEIR way is classic! It truly is a great old album imo!

More from our neighborhood suburban sanctuary. Neighbor knocked on the door earlier and asked if I wanted to see this. Another neighbor that is challenged by physical labor is paying him to clean up storm damage from weeks ago, and look what was under this limb. With it's long spindly legs and running like Bambi on ice I wonder if it was born today. Saw the doe earlier when saying goodbye to a friend leaving after lunch, but where did the doe go after playing with the other neighbors rodents (3lb incessantly barking bugs)?

Got up at five Mon. and gave it a good pounding, got to sleep at 7a today for two hours. Sure I'll hit that pillow hard in a few. Straight from Doraville:

IME, there is nothing to be gained being publicly critical of another member. The anonymity of the medium makes it difficult for some to avoid personal conflicts. Some take it personally when others have different preferences. For example, you own an F150 and I buy a Ram, is incorrectly interpreted as a criticism of you for being so ignorant as to prefer your Ford. I observed this phenomenon from an early age and have tried to avoid it. My late father was a kind and decent man who would help strangers anyway he could, until he got behind the wheel of a car. He was one of the most aggressive and competitive drivers I ever saw. I don’t think he would have done well on the Internet. IMO, the negative conduct exhibited by some need not be moderated to the extreme. The kooky crankiness is amusing and easy, at least for me, to ignore. I like class D chip amps, zip cord, and hi-res digital. Do I lose sleep if someone else prefers tubes, Cardas cables, and vinyl? I do not. Over the 17 years I’ve haunted this forum, I’ve seen malcontents come and go. When trolling troublemakers fail to get a rise out of others they grow bored and go to another board. One thing that ought to unite us all is a shared preference for the high efficiency and low distortion of Klipsch, despite the anti-horn bias of “audiophiles.”

Years ago, I was sitting in a lawn chair, smoking a fine Habanos & drinking some Hanana Club, while watching the wife cut the grass. Lady from across the street walks over, & sez "Why, you ought to be hung". To which I sez, "I am; that's why she cuts the grass".

I may have mentioned this before, but a recent memorable Grand Haven moment was my brother-in-law, Dave’s, memorial service at the American Legion Hall (got to be one of the best Legion Halls) right on the river. After finally hearing from his fellow Marines about his heroism in Vietnam — Dave never talked about his two tours — during the outdoor service two young (~12) boys riding by on bikes, got off their bikes and stood at attention. Only in GH.
