  1. I've had enough. Going to kick this system to the curb and just put it out with the trash! I don't think I have ever heard such clarity and presence in my life. I feel lucky. The musicians are here standing in front of me playing. I am connected to the music in a way I have not felt before.

  4. Why the heck not rolllllll???? Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 is a live album by the American rock band the Doors, released on February 23, 2018, on Rhino Records. The concert was recorded at the Isle of Wight Festival in England on August 30, 1970, and this was released by Eagle Rock Entertainment. It was the group's final appearance as a foursome outside of the US and also the last full filming of a Doors concert.[1] This is the 1970 remaster and it's killer! See what happens when you plant seeds @Full Range? 😂 😂 Live at Pompeii is a live album and film by David Gilmour, the guitarist of Pink Floyd. It was recorded at the Amphitheatre of Pompeii. It documents his 2015–16 world tour to promote his album, Rattle That Lock (2015). The concert was directed by Gavin Elder. The album was released on 29 September 2017.

  9. This post is for Tony Banks recent birthday But this 12” 45 rpm single album is with his mate Fish of Marillion Wiki info Shortcut to Somewhere" is a song by Genesis keyboard player Tony Banks, released as the second single from his 1986 album Soundtracks, with Fish on vocals. It was Fish's only commercial recording outside Marillion before his departure from the band in late 1988. Fish also wrote the lyrics for this fast, keyboard-based pop song similar to the Genesis material of this period, with a typical 1980s production. The song is part of the soundtrack for the 1986 film Quicksilver. A section of the song was performed live by Genesis as part of a solo career medley at the 1988 Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary concert. It is the only Tony Banks solo song to have been played live by the band.

  16. I have this feeling that my luck is none too good This sword here at my side don't act the way it should Keeps calling me its master, but I feel like its slave Hauling me faster and faster to an early, early grave And it howls, it howls like hell I'm told it's my duty to fight against the law That wizardry's my trade and I was born to wade through gore I just want to be a lover, not a red-eyed screaming ghoul I wish it'd picked another to be its killing tool Black blade! Black blade! Forged a billion years ago Black blade! Black blade! Killing so its power can grow There's death from the beginning to the end of time And I'm the cosmic champion and I hold a mystic sign And the whole world's dying and the burdens mine And the black sword keeps on killing 'til the end of time Black blade! Black blade! Bringing chaos to the world we know Black blade! Black blade! And its using me to kill my friends Black blade! Black blade! Getting stronger so the world will end Black blade! Black blade! Forcing my mind to bend and bend The black blade Forged a million billion years ago My cosmic sword goes on for eternity Carving out destiny Bringing in the lords of chaos Bringing up the beasts of Hades Sucking out the souls of heroes Laying waste to knights and ladies My master is my slave Ha ha ah ha ah ha!

  18. Acquired yesterday. Drove through those eerie amber colors of that eclipse between Knoxville and Nashville to split up the trip. Actually these have a well respected provenance! I'd have to check before I laid that out. * @Dave A refurbished these prior to the last owner! Been a long time since I've have Klipsch that would crank! These do it so articulately and with a lower than usual frequency response that I disabled my SB-3000, it can only be adjusted down to 30Hz. The K-48-Es trounce that without a problem. The double pleated shades & latex pillows won't cover this environment for this so I'll be taking care of that next.

  20. Wife is at work and I am rocking it up (LOUD) with an album that I is so good and I like every song on it Be dammed the neighbours 🤘 What is your favourite song? However this may be my last spin for a while as I have a stubborn blocked ear without any pain Doctor said it is a Eustachian tube disfunction and it will pass on its own in a few weeks (I don’t believe him) ‘Anyway to explain how it happened - while swallowing water it went the wrong way and I had a massive coughing fit and that in turn blocked the ear canal (Yes I have tried several manual clinical methods to pop the ear to no avail) Artist - Black Sabbath Title - Paranoid

  21. Ok friends.......yes, been a while, but stopping by with some vinyl to spin. This time from the audio showroom. This album I bought NEW in 1978, I think played it only a couple times in that year. So, this is the first time spinning it again in all these many years! Guess you could say the Rega is set, table cloth and all .

  22. After them I changed to Mott The Hoople, any idea what does it mean ? and finally ......Chase was an American jazz-rock band. On August 9, 1974, Chase was traveling by plane to Minnesota for a gig at the Jackson County Fair when they ran into bad weather - in the subsequent crash, Bill Chase died along with band members Wally Yohn, John Emma and Walter Clark, and their two pilots were also killed

  27. Imma rollin here George! How ya feelin brother? King Crimson were an English progressive rock band formed in 1968 in London. The band drew inspiration from a wide variety of music, incorporating elements of classical, jazz, folk, heavy metal, gamelan, blues, industrial, electronic, experimental music and new wave. They exerted a strong influence on the early 1970s progressive rock movement, including on contemporaries such as Yes and Genesis, and continue to inspire subsequent generations of artists across multiple genres.[1] The band earned a large cult following.[2][3] Founded by Robert Fripp, Michael Giles, Greg Lake, Ian McDonald and Peter Sinfield, the band initially focused on a dramatic sound layered with Mellotron, McDonald's saxophone and flute, and Lake's bass and powerful lead vocals. Their debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King (1969), remains their most commercially successful and influential release, with a potent mixture of jazz, classical and experimental music.[4] Following the sudden simultaneous departures of McDonald and Giles, with Lake also leaving very shortly afterwards, the next two albums In the Wake of Poseidon and Lizard (both 1970) were recorded during a period of instability in the band's line-up. A settled band of Fripp, Sinfield, Mel Collins, Boz Burrell and Ian Wallace recorded Islands in 1971, though in mid-1972, Fripp let go of this line-up and changed the group's instrumentation and approach, drawing from European free improvisation and developing ever more complex compositions. With Bill Bruford, John Wetton, David Cross and, briefly, Jamie Muir, they reached what some saw as a creative peak on Larks' Tongues in Aspic (1973), Starless and Bible Black (1974), and Red (1974). King Crimson disbanded at the end of 1974. Island 1971 Half Speed Mastered is sounding divine and then some!

  44. I´ll try to make it short . Well , it´s a vintage japanese Micro Seiki DQX 1000 direct drive quartz controlled . They were built in the late 1970´tees and is the mother of all modern copied tt "oil rigs " . It´s a timeless tt concept that allows to mount up to three tonearms. I use one origin middel heavy modified Micro Seiki MA 505 MK II ( right sight ) and one light modified SME 3009 Tonearm ( back side ) . As I got different MI´s MM´s and MC´s in my cartridge collection it´s quiet important to meet their technical prerequisites like needle compilances and others. The wole unit is controlled with that motor controller unit for power on / off , quartz lock on / off and speed control

  46. Like the tune! Those super crates hold 100 + LPs and I don't count the doubles or triples. That aloe came from under a pier at the Shark Bite Capital of the World... New Smyrna Beach, FL in the mid-90s. In Ormond, Maitland then in Rockledge and also Port St John is the rest of it. I was with a gypsy then... they were left there three to four feet tall with a flower like fireworks that shot up out of the middle. They spread like crabgrass, with shoots. I've got those pots with me. Died with the others where I was confined in sc. No direct light into any window. Tried outside finally, and a cat killed em all and mom's pearl plant. So when I road trip back down to the Free & Protected State of Florida to surprise my X, I'll get another shoot!
