  2. Please contact Chad only if there is a technical problem with the forum. He is a programmer, not a referee. That's my job. Plus I know y'all. As usual, remember this forum is designed for Peer-to-Peer support and is not 100% monitored by Klipsch. We rely on you to contact us if there is a problem with the posted content, although we do try to keep up on things as best as we can. For personal issues with content on this forum, contact me directly. My email is in my signature, or send a PM. And a side note of common sense, if you have a personal problem with another forum member, keep it off the forum. Thanks, all!

  4. The WD solution sounds decent, but does it do high bitrates? I really need a solution that will do uncompressed through the whole house. I am wired with CAT 6 everywhere. If I coudl buy a tablet or use an android to control everything that would be great too. McMira, sorry, but the first buy one smal apple product, then buy more, and more and more and eventually you MUST have everything apple... If I can network everything but not become an apple deciple an dstill use Linux, android and, god help me, Windows, I'd be on board.

  5. I Have to agree with Carl on this discussion. Bring back the Sub Bass section. Put things back in the order of the old forum as much as possible. The order feels quite mucked up to me as it is. Taz

  8. I have 4 CDT5800s in my ceiling doing rear and side surround duty. Sounds good to me, much better than nothing. And they are high WAF. On Sunday with Sunday night football on my wife was asking where the crowd noises were coming from, she thought someone was outside whistling trying to get our attention. Eric

  9. Maybe it would be Klipsch-appropriate to merge them into a thread.

  10. Sorry wolfbane, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. If you spend any amount of time around here, you'll quickly see we're a lot like family. There's normally a lot of private sharing, and it's normal for threads to go off on tangents. There's squabbling too - sometimes we poke each other in the eye, both deliberately and by accident. Welcome to the forum!

  11. Yeah, but she's 13 now. We just made it to the semi-finals for the fourth year in a row at the largest flag football tournament in the country held annually at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. Imagine over 2500 kids. She started playing when she was 10, and after six seasons (we go in Spring and Fall), she hung up her cleats to coach with me. When the League Director saw her on the field calling defensive plays (5th & 6th graders), he came over to tell me something I already knew, "She's amazing". Now my son is playing, and the comparisons are already beginning. Poor Ian, I feel bad for him. Temple was a hell of a player, and I always enjoyed listening to the young men in defensive huddles arguing over the best way to cover her -- spirited arguments that could be heard clear across the field. I would look over at Temple, often with her head down, kicking up dirt with her cleats, looking very much like a thouroubred ready for the gate.

  12. What a blow! Good thing they are taking care of replacing it. I thought you were going to tell us they were blaming you and weren't going to replace it. I was ready to roll up my sleeves. Looking forward to hearing about the new set...

  13. Thanks to all the past, present and future posters of information which I may use to further my pleasure at no cost to me. If I should benefit financially from that information, may I have the presence of mind to display common coutesy as to properly thanks those individuals, as they did the lifting, and I did the copying. Thank you Klipsch forum!

  14. Ok I have to ask the obvious...why did Klipsch change the Khorn crossover? From what I understand there was very little change with drivers they have used over the past 35 years other than a dalliance with EV for their midrange for a time now they are back with Atlas?? Maybe a good place to ask (again) what do people think the best Khorn crossover was and why? Thanks
