  1. Since Home Theater Showcase only has 11 posts, Why not put those pictures into the Home Theater section and BRING BACK THE SUBWOOFER section! I did enjoy reading the subwoofer section. Lets vote. Current status of vote; 24 votes to bring back the Subwoofer section 3 votes against Taz

  2. Has anyone seen this article? I can't believe that a Company would do this and think that what they were doing was ok... Legally or morally. http://www.audioholics.com/av-preamp-processor-reviews/simaudio-moon-cp-8-processor

  4. very interesting. I am almost positive there is going to be a lawsuit of some kind. Not sure if it will be worth it. It sort of goes to show the law of diminishing returns here. Is it possible that they crammed $17,000 of extra value into their pre/pro? I..doubt..it.

  5. I built my own Belle bass bins and used an EV HR90 midrange horn. The larger horn loads the room better IMHO. chris That looks like it should sound very good. Greg

  6. "Not helpful Dennis, not even a little bit -- all we know is what we've always known, that Wilson is ripping people off in the worst kind of way. Man, you were supposed to blow me away with at least a paragraph of something I couldn't understand." Hey, I try. Barkenhausen noise (sudden, discontinuous jumps in magnetization, sudden changes in the size and orientation of ferromagnetic domains, or microscopic clusters of aligned atomic spins) is virtually inaudible in a well designed inductor. This would argue for fine laminations of a high permeablity material. M6 is fine for inductor cores (Madisound SledgeHammer), solid cores (Madisound Sidewinder), and ferrite drum cores (certain Klipsch products), have room for improvement. Small signal transformers (mic, line, etc) can benefit from better materials than M6 (but at a higher cost). "if you have a 4inch exhaust system well things move much more freely and you get alot more power!!!" So, if bigger is better, should I go to a 6"? How about I just take off the manifold?

  8. Upgrading crossover components or changing out the crossovers is a good idea, but really it's the little midrange horn in the Belle that needs the most attention, imo. Greg

  12. I knew that there was a reason why I left this forum for a while...I really don't enjoy this type of low brow "humor", especially from those that know better than to bait an admin trying to do his job. The latest display of bad manners sinks to new lows, IMHO. Klipsch: you've been a real asset to my "audio career". Thanks a million, especially Roy, Amy, Chad and the rest of the K-crowd. PWK lives through you guys. You all are "top notch". Chris A,

  13. I probably would've banned the user for at least a day and deleted the thread immediately after seeing it. There's just no place here for using that word that's in the thread title. Even though I'm not a "forum policeman", I do have an obligation as an employee of Klipsch to help protect our brand image on our websites. After all, this forum is Klipsch's. I never got to meet PWK, but I imagine he wouldn't put up with that kind of stuff.

  14. Disclaimer: This is just for personal use on my Klipsch speakers. I'm in the process of refurbishing a set of KP250's and I want to do something a little different with the metal grills and I need a large stencil or a high resolution logo file so I can have one made to spray the logo on the grills.

  15. ah ok i thought you meant rear as in 5.1 so surround back yeah bookshelf is ideal. ports against the wall...ideal? no will it be ok? yes for surround backs shouldn't hurt anything. if it were your mains i would probably advise against.

  17. How about the rs-41ii's for 175$ at the top of the garage sale section right now? Easier to place and better coverage as well as not rear ported like either of those book shelf speakers
