  3. Hey Mate, Great Man Cave!!! You can never pay too much for something that you treasured as a kid. When i was a teenager there was a Darth Vader statue in the city's biggest department store. I used to go in and look at it all the time. 20 years later i found a forum known as The PropDen, $5000 later i am in the home straight to fulfil that dream. Enjoy the speakers regards Paul

  4. Bought them! The guy knew his stuff. He was a musician. He had a lot of gear. I told him what amp I was using so he pulled out a similar amp and hooked the speakers up to it. They are a little beat up cosmetically but the sound is awesome. cant wait to hook them up here tomorrow.

  7. Hi back derringmusik. I don't have experience with either of those products though Mapleshade has released some other products that I have tried such as fine quality in house jazz and blues recordings. Just read the ad for the Mapleshade disc polish....."like lifting a blanket from your speakers" come on Pierre you can do better than that If you have some discs that need work I will be happy to take them to the library here and give them my "special" treatment which includes double polishing. Perhaps someone here has tried the two products you mentioned. By the way thank you for researching the Victor Talking Machine that I own......very good information!

  8. Welcome to the forum! The capabilities of that sub are here: http://www.klipsch.com/kp-115/details#description I don't know what the 'B' designation is for. This speaker is pretty simple to troubleshoot really. If you are getting no sound from the speaker, remove the driver, and connect your speaker leads to it. If you still don't have sound, you have a dead driver. Call Klipsch and see how much for a replacement. If they don't have one, you will have to look for one. You can post a message in Garage sale here, etc. The driver is a K-48-K. Good luck!
