New Klipsch owner and new to the forum. I had just bought a pair of KG4's on CL for $280. Then a few days later, a pair of Forte's appeared on CL in Oak for $500. Could not let that pass. I was afraid the wife was going to kill me but she took it well. The Forte's have hardly a scratch. First time I've owned a 3 way system and wow what a sound. Now I could be set for life as far as speakers go. Live in a small place so La Scala's would be out of the question. But there is a mint pair on CL Spacecoast, Florida. I'm not going there but help yourself.8 points

Eclectic, Symphonic, Heavy and Neo Progressive categories among others. Progressive Metal too. Never thought of it like that before but it does make some sense. Never was a crowd surfing head banger or thought I'm a progressive listener. But the number of records in that list that I've had for decades and still pull out regularly is pretty high.4 points

All plumbers and HVAC technicians are trained to not complete drainage connections until completing all other work. That practice ensures that there is sufficient time to forget to connect the drainage connections.3 points

Sounds like a good idea. Me too! I'm sure you'll be on a schedule, and maybe in a hurry, but a breakfast, lunch, or dinner meeting is a very good way to meet some Klipsch folks. Give it some thought and let us know 😀3 points

Not sure what you're using to drive the speakers, I like the SS stuff. When you place the Forte just right, and that, most likely, won't happen the first place they land, there is magic that lets them blend into the room and make a sound stage. They are supposed to have been one of the, if not the, most ballanced speaker Klipsch made. If you feel that you don't have enough space for LaScala, you should get a bigger house.3 points

Welcome to the forum. The sickness is upon you. You think you don't have enough space for Lascalas, but wait, there is that voice in your head that can become very persuasive. Enjoy your Klipsch. They are wonderful speakers, and again, welcome. Tom3 points

--- look at it this way - the 535/402 (Jubes) were PWK's vision for a 2-way KHorn, something he had wanted to do for many years. And call them the KHorn ll. Roy asked PK to come and listen to what he was developing - at that PK said we can't call it a KHorn ll - it sounds better than the KHorn. Point being the Jube bass bin is enclosed and PK found no issue with its performance so I'm guessing, guessing mind you, if the enclosed KHorn met with PK's performance standard than don't you think the design would have his blessings?Pure speculation I know but if you look at the many KHorn advancements under PWK's direct watch it might go to say enclosed backs are no different. An acoustic genius, yes but also a businessman needing/wanting to keep his baby afloat..I hardly doubt he would object to selling additional KHorns with a proven design change.3 points

Have not but sure would like too. Saw Heart twice in the 80's and Paul Rodgers with Neal Schon at Fernwood Station(a bar) in Orlando during Rodger's Muddy Water Blues album tour. Bill2 points

On a different note. Having a few people over today for a late lunch/early dinner. Then we're headed over to a small outside venue close to my house to see an Elton John tribute band. Should be lots of fun. I will serve my world famous spice rubbed roasted chicken breast and garlic and whole peppercorn stuffed tri tip roast. Both cooked on the green egg outside, its too dang hot to cook indoors. Cheers all.2 points

It is a madness at that. Endless combinations of amps, pre's, and speakers run through the mind. Is it a problem when it interferes with the workflows??2 points

I finally have had a chance to hook up 2 of the Lascala speakers I bought from Rich and at first I was a little disappointed at the bass I was getting from then, but after I little placement and some swapping out inconnects I am really impressed at they way them image and the bass is fine.I can only load 1 picture due to size, but you get an idea if what they look like.Rich was great to deal with and he included some risers he had made that raises the speakers to ear level from my sitting position.2 points
