They look like the poblanos that the mexicans stuff them with all the good stuff, Chiles Rellanos. @dirtmudd It's your fault I have to wash all those pans in there tonight (^#=&~ This was a couple hours ago and it was the second, had to make it smaller. Two parts beef and one part sausage garlic, basil, oregano then in mushroom sauce from a jar. It's good though and will last me for two more days!

  18. Gotta cook everything that is gonna spoil, and share with the neighbors. "Looks like makings for a big bbq" when I saw the storm prep vids on TV.... Fridge packed with perishables. We drank ice cream after it lost its cooling ability... How is everyone today? suffered a momentary lapse into adolescence... Recorded WoW.. Women of Wrestling Same story line they were working 50 years ago. Had me chuckling. What do you watch at 3:30AM? No, not up late.... up early Working on leftover Peruvian coffee. Still talking rain. Put up or shut up. Talk is cheap and all that... Haven't heard anything on the Heresy. I bet they are reconsidering.

  19. I just got shut down I did make it to the last tune on A, but I'll have to finish in here on youtube. It was a big-time show whenever these guys opened or headlined here... and with Michael Shenker onstage they were the headliner almost every time. In the place where the wrestling was held in the 70s here Mollly Hatchet after their first excellent LP, then Judas Priest opened for UFO at our Park Center across from the Shrine Bowl field. 21. Personally I dont care what some chart says I can, or can not hear. I listen to what I like. If I cant hear it I cant miss it !!!!! I may not know squat in your scenario but I know 100% what sounds good to me. I have both Headphones Sennheiser HD800, And Open Baffle speakers DIY. Both have there strengths, & weakness. No Headphone even the HD800 can image like a speaker properly set up. I have heard all the BS & People swearing they can get imagery BLAH...BLAH...BLAH What they get is an imaginary image. My speakers cover the wall 14 ft wide and 7 feet deep. That said Headphones generally offer better detail retrieval more of the inner detail, they also offer intimacy (Though the right source on speakers can offer another form of intimacy) It all boils sown to what one PREFERS I like both at times. No chart can tell me that

  22. So, yesterday, I was outside getting a field cut, working on some things.... you know the drill. Was talking to my brother in law when all the sudden, on the ground, I see this armor plated murderous catapillar. Realizing that "pretty" things in nature can many times be dangerous, my brother in law took a small twig to touch the spines on it to see if they were hair or.... indeed spines. As he touched it, this thing literally swung its head around to attack him and try to stab him with the spines on its head. It was fascenating. This thing was 100% attitude. We took the hint and let him scoot along the way. Looked it up this morning and turns out its bark is worse than its bite. Here it is. Those are either VERY stiff hairs or indeed, little spikes. Interesting to me how this one is just sitting there (maybe it's dead?) and the one we saw was full of attitude. https://www.kidsdiscover.com/quick-reads/meet-the-hickory-horned-devil-a-fierce-but-harmless-caterpillar/

  23. I found these on Ebay, listed as a "Banana to Spade connector", so I bought half a dozen to try them out. It turns out they are fantastic for any bare wire to screw head (old school) connections! These are solid brass, so they are good conductors. They work so well on the back of my Heresy 1's and the mono amps that I ended up buying another couple dozen. Here's the Ebay link and photos of mine in use: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Banana-To-Spade-Adapter-Plug-Speaker-Cable-Connector-TS/173031263518?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

  28. It all looks so good but the "stuffed longshots" grab me. Do stuffed bell peppers all the time but could spice that up. What kind of peppers are these - hard to get a big variety of peppers here in 'the great white north'. Sausage or gr. beef? (Google was no help)

  30. Not quite perfectly flat yet. I don't really care if it ever gets that flat. Just want those high grain ridges gone so when I slide a 100LB ampifier across the shelf, I don't drag across some grain possible lifting some finish, or color, or even a scratch. It was the first time for me using the AquaSeal product. A bit of a learning curve. Started on the bottoms of course. I eventually got a good technique down. More tedious than I thought it would be. Worth the effort, but I stopped after 2 coats. There is maybe 100 board feet of material here to finish. I eventually got one coat of General Finishes on everything, then called it a day. https://aquacoat.com/products/clear-grain-filler https://www.woodcraft.com/products/hp-polyurethane-top-coat-gloss-quart

  32. Pre season rankings are 95% BS with the exception of the powerhouse programs ranked in the top 6 or so, the rest are a bunch of people guessing, but it all shakes out after about 6 weeks. @jimjimbo Michigan hopefully has another quarterback in the system, because you're right about Patterson, I was sure he was going to come out this year and be much better than this. I'm glad that PSU decided to show up in the second half and though I've already expressed that I think it will be a fair season at best, had we been beaten by Buffalo, they were shooting off the line in the entire first half. The LSU/Texas game was a fantastic game to watch and Bama has a couple teams that should give them a run, but still a pretty easy schedule until the end. What the heck is up with Maryland? I guess we'll see in 2 weeks and I'm sure they will be ranked in the teens after that blow out. College football time, the world is right again!

  33. Were any of those teams ranked though??? Yeah, It will probably be Bama vs Clemson for champsionship again this year. Well, unless Jalen Hurts stays pissed, then Oklahoma has a chance.

  35. There is a Greek festival in Tucson. Can't say I've been. If it involves food, can't be bad. nothing happening here. Prolly should have gone "downtown" this AM. 1st Saturday of the month street market. Getting time to see some local tomatoes. May be a slim year for them. Been too warm. They won't set fruit. Cherry toms are not bothered by it. still waiting for rain. We're getting a little humidity from TS Ferdnand. Rumbling around. We'll see. "Monsoon" is winding up. Not a good year for summer rain.

  36. Made second coffee today. For the first time in years I hit the Greek Festival today. Missed it last few times because it always used to coincide with the Festival in the Park that starts the third week in Sept. Fun stuff especially for the kids, fantastic food and pastries! The Lemon Trout (they don't even call it that anymore) isn't trout since twenty years ago and the lemon mutton and chicken are special too. The regular stuff on the side - pastichio, spanikopita, dolmades and everything else too. https://yiasoufestival.org/ What I dig are the koulourakia; the first coffee I ever had probably in 1967 or 8 was for dunking these into at my neighbors house. They're a not very sweet twisted butter cookies that just crumble when you eat them... delicate. The coffee has to be doctored with cream and I don't mind for these at all. Baklava and the other sweets are ok but this is the real deal!!

  37. I understand many members hold strong opinions, of which there has been no shortage of expression shown here. That's great. However, I stand by my own opinion, which I clearly expressed. I am not certain if the subwoofer is included. It would of course, need one if it isn't. Yes, "Heritage" is the name Klipsch has chosen to give this bar. It isn't heritage. Get over it. And I don't see the need to begin to pigeonhole members who have questions into age groups, as if to say one group knows more than the other. How petty. This soundbar will never replace the use of actual, individual speaker channels. Duh! I never said it would. And I didn't feel it was important to question the logic in why they were considering a soundbar over separates. It's a simple question: "What did you think when you heard it?" Asked and answered! Period!!

  39. look like green chiles my mom made stuffed [bell] peppers... she used ground beef. Sausage sounds good. She put red sauce on/around them when she baked 'em. you should be able to get those peppers. I was treated to some of the best Mexican food I've have at a place in Elkhart IN.

  42. Clemson had better clean up their ugly 1st quarters or they might just lose a game this year. And Trevor Lawrence has thrown more interceptions than all of last year. Yea we put some big-uns in the first round of the pro draft but we'll be in the playoffs again this year too! All you guys from the other parts of the country are on notice!

  43. The braces didn't become a production thing simply due to the cost of hand-fitting them to either side of the doghouse...way too much labor time would have been involved, driving up the price of the LaScalas. Keep in mind that there are varying minute differences between the bass bin side panels and the dog-house panels, which would have required hand-fitting of each brace.

  44. Thanks. Yep it's a great sub. I guess I'm just a bit old school and a front-firing JTR 118HT became available locally right after I bought the SVS. Worked with Jeff at JTR to get a second one and am very happy. Thought about throwing the SVS in the back of the listening area and might still if it doesn't sell. We'll see...
