  1. You may be able to find RSO oil. Rick Smith Oil... You can use it to add in for baking, cooking, or whatever. It's black, and comes in a syringe marked in CC's. It'll be spendy for a syringe, but it will last for quite some time.... You'll have to experiment with dosage. 1-2 CC's for a dozen cookies or some such. Start low, and go from there. Just don't put 3 CC's on your finger and lick it off...you'll be severe nappy time in about 20 minutes.

  4. A flower lady's daughter As sweet as holy water Said, "I'm the school reporter Please teach me", well I taught her. Two fingered levi'd sister Said, "Peace", I stopped I kissed her. Said, "I'm a male resister", I smiled and just unzipped her. High diving Chinese trender Black hair and black suspender Said, "Please me no surrender Just love to feel your Fender". All of you know that the girls of the road Are like apples you stole in your youth. All of you know that the girls of the road Been around but are versed in the truth. Stone-headed Frisco spacer Ate all the meat I gave her Said would I like to taste hers And even craved the flavor "Like marron-glaced fish bones Oh lady hit the road!" All of you know that the girls of the road Are like apples you stole in your youth. All of you know that the girls of the road Been around but are versed in the truth.

  9. I don't know if you have any digitized music stored on a USB drive or NAS or the like but if you do you MUST install Roon. I'm on day 4 of my 14 trial period and for sure will be a long term user. It is the single greatest thing I've seen in music since the invention of the Marshall Stack. Mesmerizingly cool interface and wonderful way to waste 10 hours at a clip. Works for streaming services too, but with your own music you find all those gems you forgot about. Really cool feature is you play a song you like it will keep adding to your queue things it thinks are similar. Fantastic to put on Grant Green's Idle Moments and then just let Roon do it thing.

  12. Lets be cynical for a moment.... politicians (notice lower case p) like power. There was a politician who said something like, don't ever let a crises go to waste. How much maneuvering might the politicians be doing surreptitiously so that when this is done they've wrestled even more power and diminished more of our rights?

  13. If you are at all open to the idea of a semi-automatic machine not an automatic I have a Gaggia Classic that has been upgraded with a Sylvia steam wand that makes fantastic milk and non-milk drinks. I've purchased another machine and have not gotten around to selling mine on ebay. Shoot me off a PM if you think a Gaggia Classic might work for you. Tons of great info about the Classic online as it truly is a classic. Just personal preference but I'm not a fan of Automatic machines in general.

  16. Last of the last 20mg I don't use them for sleep I use them for anxiety or recreation . Mostly I cut them into 4 5mg pieces . I carry a piece with me on my more stressful Friday and Saturday shifts just in case , I'm unemployed right now so they're safe 😶 As far as recreation I use them to pass time . I had a handful of some round gummies that were surprisingly strong . Like ate a whole one before a long walk and it's a good thing I wore sunglasses because I was a Big Stewed Man . So this past Sunday I ate the last half of one of those and did this .

  17. Once someone gave my wife one, she had it right before bed, it was the first time she slept all night in years, usually she is up off and on all night like you. If they make medical legal here she will get something to help her sleep, like you she can not smoke with her breathing problems.

  26. Thanks Dave......just chillin here waiting to be sprung. The new music room is coming along with media storage the concern now. Also considering a sub out of curiosity. Maybe a Bluesound Node 2i for streaming with a Amazon HD subscription. The Sugar Cube from Sweet Vinyl works well enough but I probably should have done streaming first (cheaper and endless selection of music). Sent a couple of LPs (Keb Mo and Mandolin Orange) to my bud bluesboy over on the west coast to see how he likes them. Will talk by phone during happy hour Saturday see what he thinks. Stay safe gents.......

  27. Some furniture maker here in Ohio actually designed a new type of ventilator. Awaiting a patent and approval from the FDA so he can start mass production. That's been fast-tracked by Gov De Wine. Showed it yesterday and it's a fairly simple machine. Regular price now? $20k each and up. He's going to sell his for $1k and will produce 5k a week.

  29. You got that right and I would add to that the politics need to be completely out of this crisis, but it's pretty clear that none of them have the ability to do that. The video with the Korean Dr. was just clear and honest answers to common questions without any BS and really, that's all we need as well.

  31. Posts focused on Lowthers are not common here, although I have mentioned my experiences with them since I started contributing to the Klipsch forum in 2002. I've been using Lowthers since the 90s, and found the rolled edge whizzer to completely destroy the classic Lowther sound - lightening fast transient response; completely unveiled, crystal clear reproduction (with well-recorded material); unrivaled tonal qualities (of course totally subjective); efficiency equal to that of the most efficient Heritage systems. I went so far as to extremely carefully remove the rolled edge by trimming away the majority of the half-roll with a fine razor knife, using a brand new blade for each driver. This brought back at least some of the clean, super-fast transients and instrumental timbres I heard with the old whizzer, but not completely. I eventually found a pair of older DX4s with the unrolled edge, and am much happier with the sound. I will also be ordering the older style diaphragms with the classic whizzer cones for my PM5s. So! I suspect this is just the long-winded way of pointing out that one person's "famous Lowther shout" - with which Joe is not alone in hearing (it's an ancient and well-trodden trail on many forums) is another user's extremely accurate portrayal of live instruments. And I have corresponded with others on the same classic Lowther boat as I! I will say that there are probably more Lowther users who prefer the rolled whizzer cone to the not-rolled version. And thus, this is ultimately another way of saying that the sound quality of that capacitor (expensive or not), that output transformer, that 2A3, 6L6, or 5687 is, very simply, in the ears of the beholder... (wink, smile, emoji of choice) Hoping that you and your families are 'ok' as we work through this very spooky and unprecedented global problem. I just couldn't help responding to a topic involving the drivers I hold most dear, despite their monumental insignificance at this time.

  32. Mornin' All ...especially @Dave1290 ArivacaBlend this AM. I need to find a little something to do this AM. Wife is tutoring for a couple hours...one student ...in our house. I am not too crazy about this. well, Boy will be around a lot more. Was told yesterday that he is getting laid off the end of the week. Told/suggested that he file for UE two days ago. About went fisticuffs because "I still have a job"... There are times when being right sucks. He does have some cow punching lined up.... at cowboy wage....$100/day. Cash. That will help. I suggested that he get hold of his lender about car payment, since he is no longer employed... Just to brace them for late payment. And I bet he would like the $3000 for that truck back. Might be too late. He doesn't have the title or plates yet. Might be able to negate the transaction. IDK. We''ll see how much of a friend the guy he got it from is... Oh.. that last frost Jujubes trees are fine, lilacs are fine... poms got burned. A lot of crispy black leaves...Garden is fine. They can take snow and being frozen. A few years back, I had a potted plant. It got frozen solid. Leaves would snap, frozen. It made it. dirt frozen solid, too. This being on shelter in place could be worse [for me]. I have a friend in NJ. She lives in a studio apt. No yard/property to wander.... and someone in the building is infected...I worry big about her. After the convo with @BigStewMan about vaping... dug out my "mini whip" for the SSV, and loaded it with tobacco. I might be able to do that. Got the desired effect w/o smoke.Taste was tolerable.` what else?....
