$39 at elusivedisc dot com Sent them hundreds the last couple of years and they've been great! Love my tt but when I escape the twilight zone I might give this a try. Really miss the semi-auto function. *Paul your wall of gear looks great with the combinations of gray (titanium) and black thrown in between the wood and the LS! LEDs were neat when they came out, but the dials accompanied by a knob are just great!5 points

...if you can call +5` "Indian Summer", it's happening here, too -------------------------- We got a "new" tv. Boy gave us one of his. Nice unit. Toshiba No, not "smart"... just the way I like them. ------------------ in the Norts Spews - anyone else used to read Tank McNamarra? U AZ snapped their 20 game losing streak [football] with a win over Cal. A Cal player got a celebratory punch in the nuts from a U AZ player. Somehow, I think that should warrant a little more than an unsportsman like conduct penalty.4 points

This weekend I'll leave the stereo off. The last 4 hours I spent with my wife and kids, we watched a 4 hour German TV show. Monday comes my HiFi friend , then we will make our " HiFi Workshop ". I had already reported a few days ago about it. Then I will still hear enough music with various amplifiers, CD players, streamers, DAC etc.. I am very much looking forward to this event next week.4 points

WOW Paul ...that´s flashing me right now 😉....one of the best analog tuners ever build ! Maybe you remove the 19" rack grips on the amplifier, that looks more homogeneous when the tuner is on top of the amplifier...imo ..3 points

The answer is that - “no “ a retrofit auto lift like the TD147 can’t be done However the little Q UP lift device can be purchased to do the same job (see video) A cantilever device is also available as well I will probably sell the TD147 at some point in the future3 points

As we all know, the world of audio marketing is full of blather, lies, scandalous mis-representation and a host of other scams, flim-flams and cons. Here's the latest to amuse me. A $5,600 (gee-what a deal!) record clamp. The price alone is an assault on the senses, but the verbiage to justify the price is both hilarious and nonsensical. Enjoy: "A legendary Shun Mook product now being made in very, very limited numbers. This record clamp is made from extremely rare pieces of dried ebony briar. The extra heavy century old ebony root which were immersed in the swamps of Africa has a unique power that no other wood possesses. The vibration generated by the diamond stylus in the vinyl groove besides inducing an electroflux through the phono-cartridge also excites the ebony molecules, causing it to resonate. This in turn is feed back through the stylus and is reproduced as expanded sound staging, enhanced separation, sharpened focus and enriched tonal balance of the music. "3 points

I must say I am totally pleased with the sound of these things. It's AWESOME!!! Sounds great in both the theater and with the Klipschorns, but it's with the Klipschorns where the sound really improvement is so huge. I have really enjoyed listening to two channel again for the first time in a long time.2 points

Can't wait for another fall cleaning up all the neighbor's leaves in my yard. 65 tomorrow but w/my luck the city will be around tomorrow sucking them up. Don't wanna miss it! hahaha F my life! Every year I get a celebratory punch in the nuts from the neighbors... Guess I really piss 'em off! 😂2 points

Hmmmm, rack handles or no rack handles... All my old SAE gear had the handles but they were in an SAE rack. That industrial pro look back then but now I'm torn AND you've got me thinking about my tuner. It's an SAE 8000 digital tuner and I powered it up a while back and naturally it didn't work. Never used the thing but... ...I might. Nah, think I'll off it. Hoarder? Not me. Well maybe... 😂 On or Off? If they're on ya won't lose them... hahaha I dunno either. That wall of gear? Killer but I'm trying to downsize. As if that's gonna happen. I'd be soooo losted @ your place Paul. Ya found your happy place and it looks great!2 points

You can look at it this way Save your stylus from damage - costs way more to replace Save your legs - fast run to the TT to lift the arm manually - although I do this now because no arm lifter can be added to my tonearm on the main Garrard 401 TT2 points

Recorded in November of 2015 after his liver transplant, released in early 2016 this thing is ahhhhmazing. I'll give this one a double thumbs up alll day long. Enjoy! We've had rainy, cloudy and one cloudless bright day this week. But have yet to break 50 degrees, even got into the high 30s one morning. Bugs come in and they're belly up another foot inside! Thought I caught a big quick spider out of the corner of my eye the other evening... a couple lizards came inside to get warm!2 points
