I cooked a 3 rib, seven pound standing rib roast for three of us so there are left overs😊

We came home from mass yesterday and opened presents. the living room immediately turned into LEGO madness. I cooked a couple ducks on the BGE for dinner. A year ago on Christmas we had snow and 12° weather. Kind of a different vibe this year.

My son knew what to get me for Christmas!🙂

As much as I would like chicken fried steak and crispy hash browns it's not happening. Just looking at some of the holiday food is making me fatter.

In a nearby town, Franklin, Michigan, there is a shop that specializes in exotic wreaths. That looks like the kind of thing you can purchase at Wreath ‘O Franklin.

I have not flown with Klipsch speakers, but I have flown with Mr. Klipsch. I have posted this story a few years ago, but it can be repeated by an old man (me) that loves reminiscing about the past. On a sunny Saturday in the 1970s at the Hope Airport where Paul kept his Beech Baron, and I was restoring an MG-TD, Paul casually asked me if I would like fly with him up to a glider field in Little Rock, where he was building his glider time. Would I? Are you kidding me? He added that he needed a photographer to document some of his exploits, and so he explained the use of his 35mm SLR. I had never flown with Paul before, and found him to be a meticulous, careful pilot. We landed at a glider field outside Little Rock where Paul met several other glider enthusiasts. As a aviation buff, I was in heaven and spent the afternoon taking shots of Paul and the others taking off and soaring. He was really at home and at ease with the other pilots and enjoyed their good-hearted banter about who could find the best thermals. I will always regret never asking Paul for some copies of the prints. Too soon the evening was over and we flew back to Hope. So, yes, I have flown with Klipsch....sorta.

Was going to add... we picked up this set a few years ago during the "The World's Longest Yard Sale". There's still a lot of this Fire King Jadeite out there, but every time we use it I'm hoping we don't break or chip it.

Good to see children interested in something other than Play Stations & X-Boxes! Every now and then i pull out my Legos as well...

I musta been an OK boy... A bottle of Woodford Reserve. Wife got a Ninja blender. This thing looks dangerous. the house was relatively clean. We had guests for dinner and the cats hid. Company is gone... now, they are making shreds of the once neatly piled wrapping paper and boxes. They're having fun and I have to admit entertaining

Don't remember it being this dreary on Christmas Day out here in a long time. Of course I spent Xmas in Lima Peru in '18 and '19.

The place in Amsterdam that has changed the most is Centraal Station and again is a place I visit virtually on a regular basis.

Update: made it without incident. One missing corner protector but that was gone when I bought it and the trim will likely be removed to match my raw birch 201. Excited to fire them up!
