Few years ago the youngest said she was going to Coachella w/her roommate and a couple guys. The guys were ballers and picked up 100k by winning some 3-ball tourney in Tx. So the guys paid the airfare but nobody had tickets. She txted me they were watching from outside the fence. I told her about the old up and over the snow fence routine. hahaha Yup, worked like a charm. Find the weak link in security and tell 'em what ur gonna do then do it ad watch em laff... Then run into the crowd. By the time they realize you did what you did it's alllll over. Who's gonna look for 'em? Next day she tweeted they got in but she was healing up quite nicely. 😂4 points

Amen to Paul! Haven´t compared Rhodes and Malmsteen yet... I have a few days off around Easter, it´s a wild mix of tunes here.3 points
-
@AndreG. yep Paul is known to introduce us all to new to us music that we realize we've missed out on somehow! Yngwie? have not heard that in a while. Right after Ozzy put his separate stuff out my friends would argue whether Randy Rhodes (RIP) was better than Malmsteen or not.3 points

If you just move the rear speakers farther apart, they’d be more to the sides and somewhat closer to the ideal Surround speaker locations. Just remember that most system owners have to make some kind of compromise in their speaker placements for one reason or another, whether it be a heater, door, or whatever. Your system has to work for you, and working for you also means being easy to live with, in many ways. Speaker placement diagrams are guidelines, not iron rules. Do what you can, then sit back and enjoy how your system sounds.2 points

Kyary’s shows and videos are fun to watch and listen to, but the visual element is a big part of what makes her interesting. One time I listened to her on a CD, and I’d had enough after two or three tunes. That’s just my opinion, of course, but I’ve never heard her on any radio station that I listen to. Have you heard her on the air, other than maybe on a Japanese-language station?2 points

I think the jumper they are referring to is in the new ACA Mini model not the ACA 1.6?2 points

I hit a wall. I need to receive a text for a password/code.. and all I have is a land line..... guess I just listen to some music... Don't have to worry about waking anyone. At 5:30AM it sounded like someone, in town - and it is a small town/village, set off, what sounded like, a cannon. The only people it didn't wake, were already up.2 points

Trade only? I don’t see a selling price, just a retail cost. He’s into horns! Did you see his even bigger RCA horns on the side wall in his listing photos? Wow! Nice! I’d enjoy owning them!1 point

Someone should ask CB if he's ever heard the Jubilee using an AK crossover...1 point

Why not create a pinned thread with every setting parameter that people are using based on driver and LF? They may or may not be plug and play, but it may give folks a starting point.1 point

Back story isn't very good. I purchased the K402s a couple years ago with our favorite Klipsch dealer. At the time, I didn't have enough spare cash to pick up the Xilica with an amp, so I got the KDA-1000, which worked with my Pioneer audio receiver's pre outs. Now even worse than the "Underground Jubilees," I put the K402 on top of Belle bass bins. The audio receiver didn't play well with the KDA-1000, so my best speakers were out of commission and I decided that I needed to upgrade. So I bought the Xilica, I added pre amps, but I forgot to ask our favorite dealer to program it. I did ask after the fact, but he is a very busy man, so I understand the lack of a response. I asked my wife to try and find the settings while at work, because every once in a while, if I can't find something, she can. Roy was nice enough to respond, he said he would look to see if he still has the Jubescala settings and would send them if he could find them. I appreciate everyone's responses, one of the reasons I love Klipsch is the community, everyone is so helpful.1 point

Allnic T-2000 integrated amplifier in excellent condition. Can use KT-120s, but is currently using KT-150s. 100 watts/channel in pentode, 50 watts/channel in triode with KT-150s. Features include: Permalloy (iron and nickel) output transformers Remote controlled 41 step silver contact attenuator Full engagement output transformers Easy bias with onboard meters This is a fine sounding amplifier that is very powerful and will drive most speakers. I am only selling because I am going back to separates. Comes with box, owners manual, remote and power cord. Asking 3600.00 I have a complete set of unused, unopened spare tubes for this amp. These are not included at the asking price, but are available to the buyer at a much lower cost than retail. This includes driver tubes and KT-150s. So buy the amp and the spare tubes and you are set for quite a long time. Preference given to local pick up because of the sheer weight of the amplifier. I am willing to drive a reasonable distance as well. Located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Review below: https://www.dagogo.com/allnic-t-2000-tube-integrated-amplifier-review/1 point

I think a lot about just how lucky we were to have this man. His views and writings on sound reproduction are, I believe, critical to the counterculture of horn-loaded loudspeakers among the wider audio community. I believe that the golden age of his type of loudspeakers is still yet to come. RIP Mr. K. Your ideas live on. Chris1 point
