My wife is the only teacher in the whole school. She has 25 students ranging from K - 8th grade she also has admin stuff... lots of it prolly works 60hr/week I'm glad they do it... I couldn't.

I don´t know if I mentioned that my wife is a teacher as well in maths, chemistry, physics and english . Our eastern vacations were finshed a week ago. I really understand what you´re talking about @grasshopper . I don´t wanna be a teacher at all. It is not only the mediation of teaching content, no it is also the social responsibility towards the students, who see in it also a " parents substitute ", because there are also at universities, meanwhile very many social grievances in the families.

I get what he’s saying. Some speakers, especially monitors or slim towers can have pinpoint imaging. But who’s to say if that’s better? I will take realism that horns can create over exact imaging any day. I’ve had speakers with a deeper soundstage and more defined imaging. But LaScalas are some of the best Heritage speakers at that to me. It’s just not what they are best at.

Started with 2CELLOS from above, then the vibrations of the 64' Organ Stop - Posaune also. Gotta have below 40hz for that one! Can't measure it unless I put an app on my phone that I'm not sure of it's accuracy. But there is again a dramatically improved sound in here, I had to dial it back to -30 in the volume that started out as -0 to go with the 90 db sensitivity of the speakers I have that go down to 40 or a little below with the corner placement. No phase adjust this time on an open-box sale that hadn't been opened at all Then onto the first LP I pulled out when trying subs out a few years ago, there are more to go today but this one will play out in it's entirety. I'm sure that the good teachers now have a real hard time doing their jobs. It would take a strong will to impart that knowledge in one of the oldest and most (meant to be) noble professions. Not had a fridge full enough to find old stuff in it for a long time. back in the days of having roommates and putting marks on things with a grease pencil think I found fuzzy green penicillin on stuff before! Two eggs left and they're nowhere near going bad yet, payday this week so I'll see if I can find them for under $2 a doz again. With the news out, I doubt it! * Fussen is picturesque!

I've had things get by me and turn into science experiments.... I found an egg that had all but desiccated.. and some asparagus that went the other direction...the cut end was half rotted and fresh fern growth happening at the "leaf end"... April is done... wife is counting the days until school lets out. She's about exhausted. She's talking about going to IL for a couple weeks. About the same reason as I go to IN... family. Not the tourism hotspots of the nation. Waiting for fresh coffee. Had two cups of leftover. I'm awake enough to make coffee and remember all of the steps. You know... water, coffee, turn it on and most importantly, PUT THE POT IN THE MACHINE. It was a good thing our sink has drainer on both ends,The machine is on one. All the mess went into the sink. The lack of coffee compounded things. Had to clean things up before I could make more.

I always liked Genesis, since I started listening to music more "seriously" again ( coinciding about with joining here...) and also the early stuff, the Gabriel period. I have a lot of their albums, these compilations, are they for collectors who want everything, or are there tracks here, one will not see on the regular LPs/ CDs. Most of the CDs in my collection are the ones with additional tracks on them... These are not so expensive on Discogs, even Mint can be had...

The Chorus was mentioned earlier. If it was included in the OP’s post. That’s what I would have chosen. I’ve owned both Forte II and Forte III’s and would pick the Chorus I or II over the entire lot. They are very good speakers. It took La Scala’s to best my Chorus II’s. Sometimes I wish I would have kept those.

You know it Dave. I just shut it down for a bit, those two full lps plus the others not even mentioned here. Fun setting it up, a breeze since I already have one. but having it in between the speakers, on the same wall made it easier. Plus with L & R inputs from the monos instead of LFE from a receiver that should make a difference. Now for my decision. On my Douk G-10 monos I've had them set to 100W / channel or 21 db. If I change the setting on the trick on the bottom of each I can set them to increase the output to 27db or 200W / channel I've only kept them at noon on their pots. Might play with that later, might not.

Said they needed someone who could relate to a bunch of kids who didn't want to go to school. Told him THAT was tempting! Can you imagine me going to graduation and watching 20 "mini-me's" graduating from high school??? 😂 😂

...why do I think you can get these for $200? Anyway, yes they look like KG 5.5 speakers. And they would pound the grilles off your Quartets, but they would lack the midrange detail. I always wanted to try a pair, wound up giving CF-3s a run for a while. Similar, 2-way with dual 10” woofers. If the price is right and you have room, what’s to lose? You only regret the ones you don’t try, lol.
