I can add to these 'mishaps'. First, I am safe, and UNhurt, NO heat involved. We had strong and heavy rains here, my gutters were full of pine needles. So, when there was a break in the rain storm, I got out my 6' ladder. Had a metal hook and climbed the ladder to free one end of the gutters, GOOD, drained out the spout with a flood like force . Moved down the other end of the home (54' to the right), set up the ladder, checked the footing to be sure. Climbed up, one step from the absolute top of the ladder, again, NOTHING to hold onto. All good, reached up with the hook...............LEFT FRONT leg of the ladder decided to sink into the ground behind the shrubbery. Ladder goes to the left, I go to the right, free falling from 6' and land straight on my back, legs tangled in the ladder, head bounced on ground too!! I lay for a couple seconds there, upset at what happened, realized I was NOT HURT, took the ladder up, had to straighten the bent thing, climbed right back up and got the jog done! At 70, feeling lucky, happy I did not break anything! A week of scary things for us music lovers huh ?? Take care, be safe my friends!

I expected as much as well, these drawers are quite flexible. But i will only fully extend them if I need to work on the TT or for changing LPs. Half-way out it´s fine. What exaggerates the situation is this: The whole rack is tilted backwards a little. After adjusting front height, I´ shure I can loose some ot the washers under the TT. 🤔 You may not believe it, but usually I sit on the floor infront of my system. So having it on the lower shelf is actually more comfortable for me. 😉 I value Your input Guys!

Juxtaposed to Mark's criticism, I'd say the Internet is life, itself. Live it. Do good with it. You are given the power to help millions of people with a fraction of the effort it would have taken 50 years ago. Most Klipsch speakers sound their best in a corner, or at least near a wall, so that “audiophile” recommendation of putting your speakers out in the room does not apply here. The only slight exception is the Forte, which has a passive radiator on the back, so it needs to be maybe a foot from the wall behind it.

Think it would be wonderful to listen to them break-in. Finding their legs, so to speak.

Congrats on the new speakers. Some here would say break in is BS. Correction; most here would say that. I had Forte IIIs and Cornwall IVs. For me it was around 200 hours for things to get really interesting, and 300 hours before there were no more changes. YMMV

Here is Gary’s and Annie’s Music Room/Library/Home Theater. Captions are below each picture. The room is 25 ft by 16+. wide, with a sloped ceiling, highest in the rear, that averages 10 ft. Full range Audyssey took out a few peaks, and we love the clarity, the convincing tonality, the clean transients, and the effortless, wide, dynamic range. We think our sound closely resembles the character of the orchestras we have listened to “live.” Entering. Annie and I deliberately did not fill the shelves with books, but put art objects and artifacts on them to provide diffusion and slight absorption. The front wall. The wall is covered in fabric, and hides the center channel speaker, which is a modified Belle Klipsch which is flush mounted in a bump-out sticking out of the other side of the wall. Flush mounting gains us 1 to 3 dB in the bass, and some bass extension, as well. It is a good timbre match above the 40 Hz Audyssey measurement says is the F3. The Belle is raised so that the tweeter is the same height as those in the Khorns. We put stock upgrades in the Khorns; they have the same guts as ones made in 2018. The fabric on the wall is acoustically transparent, as is the projection screen. With both fabrics in the way, we get about -1.75 dB at 16K. Audyssey compensates for that. The bump-out also contains a subwoofer, and quite a few diffusers. The front wall with the 130" wide (not diagonal) AT screen down. The screen height is such that someone with tri-focals can see the whole image through the tops of their glasses. Screen shot from the Main Viewing Position. That is one point or there can be some DC/AC unbalance on AC side. It increases mechanical humm. In this case DC-Blocker circuit could be used. Some don't recommend this for power or integrated amplifiers.

Klipsch has 2 anechoic chambers. One each in Hope AR and Indianapolis IN. They take their measurements in one of those. Speaker engineers want to separate the speaker from the room at least to begin with. Klipsch professional theater speakers intentionally have the high frequencies dialed up to be able to penetrate from behind the movie screen.

The Cornwall debuted in 1959 with a K-1000 mid horn. In 1963 the K-600 replaced it and resulted in the Cornwall II. [There were vertical and horizontal versions of both.] In 1981 the company's collective memory did not recall this update, as the "II" had dropped out of use years earlier. So then came the NEXT Cornwall II. Virtually the same scenario occurred with the Heresy!

All capacitors have some tolerance, for bipolar electrolytic it could be 5% or 10% or even more (depends on brand and model, check datasheet). So even if you buy 100uF you can end up with 90uF or 110uF. Not sure if there is a point for investing in MKT or MKP for woofer but if you can afford it then there should be nothing wrong with this. You can also parallel electronical caps (or any other) to lower ESR. So if you combine 3x33uF you will get around 99uF and 3x less est than with single cap. If you will be lucky then with 6x33uF and precise meter you will get two equal pairs. But I would not be worry on few % differences. Drivers alone are slightly different too so anyway you never know how you will end without precise measurements, and I did not heard on any speakers that have non symmetrical crossovers.

I will be keeping you in my thoughts @Dave1291 , knowing the neuropathy and care for the feet. You are the 2nd person I know of that has had to warm their feet after the cold set in, and I Pray you will fare Much better than the other case. The goal is to waste er, spend all your money. Seriously if you are happy that is all that matters. Lots of rabbit holes out there. For some even an AVR won't do. They "need" separate pre/processor and dedicated amps for each channel. A lot might depend on your room; is it a dedicated theater or multi-use? AVRs typically don't have near the power they state. If you don't find anything lacking for movie-ish playback you are probably good. If you want more, more more you just have to find the point of diminishing returns that fits your desires and budget. Putting together a dedicated room with projector, 90+ inch screen and stacks of equipment was my goal back in the late 90s into the early 2000s. If I had it to do all over again, I'd drop $3K or less on a Sonos 5.1 system and call it a day. I'm much more into music these days. I've not made it through a comic book, super hero or disaster move in the last 10 years I'd bet. I wish I could buy 2 or 3 movies a month for home viewing like I used to...they just don't make 'em like they used to </old man shaking fist>
