FYI, Sundazed has re-released the Stooges albums on vinyl. The sundazed releases I have sound pretty good and cost the same as the cd versions.
You don't have to give Jeff Tweedy your blank tape yet. I believe there are still other countries that manufacture tape. I think that was the last American company to do it. Tape with be much like tubes, still around just not made here.
I'm a fan of the first few albums, but not much into the newer stuff. I saw them perform on the MTV icon show and could'nt get over how bad of a drummer Lars is. It seemed like he was having a hard time keeping up.

There is still alot of great country music being made. It's just not being played on the radio. The same can be said for lots of styles of music.
I ordered the new grandpa boy lp from Fat Possum records. With the order they sent me a sampler cd of artist on their label. I was completly blown away by Junior Kimbrough. His music will put a spell on you. Anyone else heard him?
