  1. Hard to find and guaranteed to work for years to come.
  2. Thanks all, speakers have been sold!
  3. Grills are fine - nothing broken as far as I know. Pins are there and work fine. No guns please - have a kid at home... he is way too smart.
  4. I'm trying to downsize here ... as in - no more bulky cabinets in a small living room kind of way so my kid has space to play. Otherwise would have kept them forever.
  5. I'm quite surprised there are no takers for the set. These sound so good and no new home....😵 By the way - found Klipsch marketing and spec brochures/papers that came with some of the speakers. Also will be included in the sale bundle.
  6. $200 - local sale only. Selling at what it cost me to upgrade the AMP alone.
  7. $1000 for everything.
  8. Lowered some more
  9. Selling my PC setup - Promedia Ultra 5.1 Set is in good condition and works fine. Mid 2019 the amp went out during a hot summer day in California, so I contact a local member and eBay seller who specializes in Klipsch Promedia repairs. I've purchased a new amp board from him with all of the important components upgraded, BASH boards put into user serviceable slots (instead of being soldered) and active cooling added to the inside of the subwoofer (paid $200 for the new amp). The set has been working great since then. Control pod's silver pain is wearing a bit on and around the volume knob, sub has a few scuffs here and there, but all works. I'm redoing my computer setup and no longer need the 5.1 setup. Price: $250 $200 Location: San Diego, CA No shipping (just too expensive for such a heavy and bulky set. I don't think anyone wants to pay $100+ to ship these). PM works best, I'm not on the forum often.
  10. $1100 for everything.
  11. Bueller, Bueller....?
  12. Price lowered on RF7.
  13. Can confirm - looks like R-115sw by the shape of the base plate.
  14. My very humble setup (now for sale ) RF-7 RC-7 LG 70" TV Denon AVR-1910
  15. I've had a full HT setup including THX Ultra speakers and ended up moving to RF7 mains and RC7. That's it. They go fairly low and sound full as is, never felt that I needed a sub with them. Almost any receiver can drive them, but something decent is still recommended. So, no - not a crazy idea.
  16. Selling my trusty RF-7 (pair) and RC-7 in Cherry. These are the last of my home theater Klipsch setup. I've gone through many different speakers (from Heritage, RF62, RF83, to Ultra2 THX and then to these) and RF-7/RC-7 were the ones I've kept long term. They sound amazing and are in great shape for the age. There are a few minor scuffs here and there, but nothing big. All grills are in original condition, no broken pegs or holes, speaker cones are not dented. The best sounding speakers I've had, work great at any volume and are a pure joy to listen to. EXTRA - a spare 10" RF-7 woofer. I bought it and kept a spare just in case one ever got damaged. That never happened, so it's been sitting in the original shipping box all this time. I think I also have some of the original paperwork/brochures for these, but not 100% certain I can find them. EXTRA - speaker cables with banana plugs EXTRA - Monster cable SUB cables (thick, but soft) SOLD
  17. Hi all, Turned the speakers on in the morning and control pod + headphones work, but no sound from speakers or sub. I know this is not the most uncommon issue and others had similar problem, so hoping to hear if anyone did a DIY repair or at least knows which components to check in this situation. Always hope in the community Thanks Yura
  18. Although this is an old topic - it helped me a lot and I want to thank everyone who contributed. My Ultra 5.1 are going strong and now sound clean again with no hum.
  19. Thank you all. So far I've had several inquiries, but for some reason people schedule the time to meet or pick it up and then just don't show up. I have enough interest where I think it will sell and I'm in no huge rush to drop the price quickly, but can always knock off another $20 for forum member.
  20. Mains and sub are good, but I would replace the center. You may want to think about replacing with bookshelfs from Reference series if space is a concern.
  21. Hi all, Due to recent medical bills that have drained us financially i need to sell my Marantz 2238 receiver. I've bought it a while back and used it only occasionally to listen to my music collection. It's in great condition - clean, lights work, sounds good. Wood case has a few small imperfections (rear corner had chipped veneer and was repaired). I would really like to sell it locally if at all possible (San Diego, California) as shipping this guy is just asking for trouble. I may still ship, but you will need to cover packaging/shipping costs - fedex, insured for full value and understand the danger of shipping. Should be around $50 or so in my estimate. You are welcome to come to my place and check it out or listen while hooked up to RF-7s. By the way - looks great next to Cherry RF7s. Would like to get $350 for it.
  22. Hi, the item has been sold, thank you for interest.
  23. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/msg/4796170765.html Seems like a nice deal.. was thinking of getting it for my garage system, but it's way too big. I should probably get bookshelf sized ones.
