I have a walnut Academy that I bought from this forum about eight years ago. Unused now for two years. I could post photos if interested, but it looks and sounds very, very good. Plus, the Mac C-20 is a real sleeper. Some people like it better than the C-22. Offer them $500 for that for sleeping well at night. Maybe you can trade for labor.

Working Mac MC-30s go for $300-500 each depending upon condition. Offer them $500 total and you can sleep well at night (discovery counts for something, plus they don't have to go find a buyer).

I have a shot at buying a pair of K'horns to replace a pair of La Scalas. I have a good wall and pair of corners of these K'horns but, there is an entertainment center that has to go between them. It seems that there is just enough room on either side of the entertainment center for the K'horns. However, the sides of the entertainment center would extend 14" beyond the inner corner of the K'horn. I could build a false wall and bring the K'horns our by 15" or so, but this is the only flexibility I have. Here's my question: would this be crowding the K'horns too much? Doesn't the low end sound come out the sides? Any feedback would be appreciated! TIA, zach7
