Believe it or not, I was in the exact same position as you 2 years ago. . . Graduating from Purdue except with an EE degree with a job at Klipsch being my dream. Had several interviews in several very different industries (including Klipsch). In the end, after a long and excruciating search, I landed several job offers to choose from with very different positions and industries.
Now, I'm a Design Engineer designing wiring harnesses for the automotive industry, now with experience in Global Production Planning, Sub Assembly Design, Kaizen, and more boring nomenclature. Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to contribute significantly to Klipsch as a member of their team. I have to start somewhere, right?
Anyways, my point being. . . just take what life throws at you when you're trying to get your balance. Soon enough, you'll get what you want.
