  1. Am I missing something? Is the only way to power off this speaker system via the switch on the subwoofer? This is not useful for me, since the sub is on the floor out of easy reach. The two speakers site next to my monitor on a computer table, but there doesn't seem to be a way to power off the system from them. As a result power is on to my speaker set all the time, even when the PC is powered off. Not optimal. As a work around has anyone found a good reasonable cost surge protector that will detect when the outlet the computer is pluged into is drawing current and automatically turn on other plugs? I've seen this feature on some UPS units, and might be another way for me to power off the speakers automatically when the PC powers down. Or would leaving the switch on the sub in the ON position all the time and turning power on and off via the main power cord be bad for the system? ~bp
  2. Looking to buy a pair of floorstanding speakers and think the RF-5's would be about all my budget would allow. Are these speakers still active in the product line, and not replaced by the newer RF-35, etc? Are there any plans to replace them soon, should I wait? It looks like the 8" drives in the new line are a little different than the older RF-5's, are the RF-5's still superior in sound (and priced a bit higher). Just want to make sure I'm making a good purchase decision...
