  1. well ill make this simple i love my parasound i have a a51 and a21 halo amps and im thinking of changing them to the new denon POA-A1HDCI 10 channel amp to go with my new denon AVP-A1HDCI ... i would like to hear what you guys think good or bad on this and the pros and cons of each ..i do understand the parasound has alot more power but i know lots of power dosent really mean squat with out the clarity so if you guys could help me decide that would be awesome thanks
  2. i have one and let me start by saying it will take your breath away in every way possible. it is a sight to look at but will beat you down with great force when asked to do so .this is the best purchase i have made so far and the quality is amazing ..
  3. thats funny i knew someone would say that.. i love good humor and attention to detail .[] i live in a house no attachment but even if we were separated I'm sure they would still be able to hear it if they didn't feel it first
  4. I'm not using the klipsch subs with the Gotham but the difference is astounding it doesn't have to be turned up very much for yo to know its there and its so smooth . watching movies over again i notice or should i say feel things that weren't there before. for me it seemed like i had to turn the klipsch subs up to really get what i wanted out of them and some scenes seemed over done with *** ...the Gotham i didn't have to turn up and it was able to give you the subtleness and brutality with out over doing it .. all in all its a sick piece of engineering and is scary when not even trying..one thing i did notice was the power draw was minimal as compared to my klipsch yet these things were shaking the house with out even trying
  5. heres a pic of my new love ..can someone also help me as to how to resize them thanks
  6. well looks like Christmas came early for me this year and i just thought id share my joy with everyone.. it came to my dealer in a box that weighed 460 pounds and came on its own pallet dropped off by lift gate truck then the jl rep wanted us to inspect it ..when i got it to my house getting 460 pounds up the stairs was no easy task butt hey what are friends for [] once we opened the box the sub was in its own micro fiber bag along with white gloves so you wouldn't scratch it the finish was unbelievable unlike anything Ive seen they even give you nano wax to keep it looking good. Ive only tested it for a little while but its amazing to me how something so brutal looking can also give you the subtle details and also blow your doors off
  7. this auction is for 2 klipsch KW-120-THX Subwoofers and a klipsch KA-1000-THX Amplifier plus the cables that came with them i only used them for awhile so they are pretty much like new. dont have room any more so im selling them they sound awesome and will rock the house and disturb the neighbors and not for the faint of heart ...they are not refurbs or b stock they were bought brand new and never abused ..they will be for local pickup only due to size and weight im asking $2500.00 obo im located in orange county thanks

  9. one thing that stood out 2 me is the fact that the new series is pretty much the same db rating (100)except rc-64 (99) but that alone should improve the timber matching..imo.. but for me im keeping the rf-7s and thinking of upgrading the rs-7s to the rs-62s in favor of the db rating (closer match 2 rf-7s) and design with the dual woofs and horns. do you think it would be worth it ..and if you guys could give me some pros and cons either way or if i should stick with the rs-7s. the rc -64 is tempting also four woofs hhmmmmm wonder if that is worth it ...ahh damm im feeling the upgrade shakes how they will sound with the rf-7s blending etc.... center and surrounds your thoughts would help thanks

  17. sunfire seems to put out alot more wattage then parasound ..and im not sure about the cost difference between the two but if the sunfire puts out 400 wats a channel at all channels driven . i guess if the price was under what you have to pay for two parasound amps then i would guess its a open and shut case??
  18. very simple question parasound A51 & A21 or one Cinema Grand Signature 400~seven channel ... what would be the diffrences between both pros and cons with my rf set up
  19. i just finally broke down and orderd my A51 & A21 amps on 6/28/05 (my birthday) and i was wondering what you guys think about them and what to expect in contrast to what i have now.. Ive been using harmon kardon signature 5 ch and pa 2000 amps and the rf set up ... with 250 watts and 60 ampres peak per channel what type of diffrence will these numbers make in overall sound quality vs my 100 watts and ? ampres
  20. so any sub will pop under heavy bass scenes if to loud...??
  21. should i use low pass or lfe and if low pass what would be the right freq to set it at sub and reciver(avr 525) i just hope i didnt ruin it already.. ill try your suggestion and let you know thanks
  22. as far as volume on the sub its about half way ..... reciver is about +5 to +8 and as far as the cut off on the reciver i think its set at default 100 hertz ... if i need to change these settings please let me know...all i know is that it had never started to do this before and the settings have been the same maybe its the settings i hope.. either way because its been popping i guess the damage has been done dont the subs have some type of control to keep this from happing so somebody like me dosent screw it up in my quest for bass numbness
