i can get the quintets with an rw8 sub for 600 or get the rsx4s, rcx4 and rw8 sub for 800. will i notice that much of a difference between the two? i want to use them for movies and music, not just movies. thanks

i am getting the quintets for a small living room. my ? is, could i use the sb1 or sb2 bookshelf speakers as the mains? and, could i actually place these type of speakers be placed on the floor??? will it ruin the sound quality?

i am getting the ref. sats because my new house has a smaller family room. i am looking to sell these speakers and receiver asap and willing to negotiate! sony es 555 receiver = $325 klipsch sf 2 towers = $325 klipsch sc 1 center = $125 klipsch ksw 10 sub = $150 i would trully love to package these all together and will do all for $850. let me know asap.

i know the almighty bose co. has that 3-2-1 system where you get the surround sound from only 3 speakers. i think a company called Niro has something similar. i was wondering if there are similar companies that have these types of systems. my parents want to add surround sound, but do not want to pay more than a few hundred. i know bose and that niro co. run about 600 to 1000 for their respective systems. any info. would be great!

i am not sure of the difference between the regular sony receivers vs. the es line. is the es that much better?
