  1. Thanks, I'll see what I can do! I suppose some sort of thick glue would be okay too.
  2. I got the Klipsch emblems but what is the best way to attach them to the grilles? They are the for the older Heresy grilles, not the cane type. Sort of the criss cross pattern fabric ones.
  3. Thanks, that was it. With shipping a pair was $9.44. Dave
  4. How can I get them? My Heresy's are missing both and I couldn't see on the Klipsch web site that they have them. I could swear they used to. The copper ones that sit in the center of the grille. Thanks, Dave
  5. A great choice, I just got a pair on ebay and they came in pretty good shape. A couple dings and scratches but all else is good, nothing to interfere with the sound anyway. You're lucky to get a pair as they aren't made anymore, and they'll last for a good long time. Good luck, Dave
  6. There is no doubt in my mind that these are going to be anything other than fantastic! The dent in it is really minor and in no way should affect the sound. But if there is your fix will be the one I will use, the one from a professional! Dave
  7. Yea, those were the ones I got so I suppose they aren't in mint condition after all. I thought you were referring to the ones that had a dented passive radiator. Mine do have a dent in one of the front woofers but all else seems to be pretty good.I have a friend who has a pair with the same kind of dent and he swears there's no problem, which is why I went with the ones I won. There's no other cosmetic damage that I can tell. It's the sound anyway they put out that's important. If there is a problem I'll just get it repaired professionally and they still will be what I wanted. I'll be happy with them I know it, besides they're worth it!
  8. Wrong pair, mine are in mint condition! But I saw the ones you're mentioning and they still didn't look bad. Dave
  9. A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post asking for help about Cornwalls mating with a pair of Forte's and I won a pair on Ebay the other day. I get them this Thurs. and to say I'm excited goes with out saying. My friend has a pair but I wasn't sure if they would go with the Cornies til I got the feed back from here. Thanks for all! And I would NEVER sell my Cornwalls! I've done some dumb things in my life but that would be one of the dumbest! I got the Forte's for 522.00 but after shipping and all that crap they ended up being 618.00, still not bad after my friend said he originally paid somewhere around 1500 for his. Thanks again, Dave
  10. I'm looking for a pair of Forte's and have no idea what to pay. Ebay has them but without knowing what sort of price range they should go for I'm in the dark. New, weren't they in the 1500.00 dollar range? Thanks, Dave
  11. Thanks for responding! There is no way I would part with the Cornwalls, I never would take that advice. I think now I will probably get the Forte's for sure after the feed back from here. Dave
  12. It's mostly music, I have a good dvd player but music is my first love, I pretty much listen to everything, mostly rock and classical stuff. I'm not too sure when the Forte's were made, I think they're around early ninetys or so. I figured they would be good being in the same Heritage class as the Cornwalls. Thanks, Dave
  13. I currently have a pair of 1983 Cornwalls and am thinking of adding a pair of Forte's to them. I'm not too sure when the Forte's were made, and I'm wondering if this pairing would be okay? I have a set of Heresy's I'm using as my second pair but with the Forte's would I Iose anything from the Cornwalls? Thanks, Dave
  14. I'm running an AdCom GFA 545 2 power amp and an AdCom GFP 555 2 pre amp with a pair of Cornwalls and a pair of Heresy speakers. I'm thinking of going surround and have no idea what piece of equipment I would need to switch. I don't want to give up the AdCom, Klipsch pairing and only want to add on to what is existing. Big bucks are not an option I want to go with. Dave
  15. Thanks to all! I was looking for a cheap and quick fix to this, I'm not into the vinyl all that much to be spending more money on them.
