thanks for the replies.....wires dont bother me at all...in fact i prefer wired....dont what to deal with the interference or whatever....im searching the web to see if theres a small processor that will convert my existing stereo headphones to have a "surround" sound.....

hello all.....i current have stereo headphones...but im looking for a nice 5.1 headphone system so i can watch movies while the baby is sleeping in the same room....my budget is $500 or less....im going crazy not being able to use my home theater....i need some help...(i tried doing a search on this forum but nothing came up)...thanks in advance...

you should be fine...just calibrate using an spl meter...the ref speakers blend really well...

6 months....because of my newborn....i can just stare at them...

i totally agree with audible nectar and mcgoo...i hooked up my krell amp to the ref 7s for a week and noticed how power hungry the 7s are....but for my home theater....im using the 7s with the denon monos(which also brings out some of the 7s best qualities) and leave the krell for the 2 channel duties...

just a few months ago i bought my second cherry rc7 (demo) at a local good guys for $325 (they wanted $400) out the door...with new woofers from klipsch...i guess it was damaged by the fingers of customer...i demo'd that thing for awhile to make sure it was okay and took a woofer out to see if the insides were okay.....

for the home theater..i use the denon 5803 and denon power amps... on the two channel side...the krell hts pre/pro (it has a very good two channel section) and krell ksa 250...(it heats up the room really quick..)

when my dad took me to good guys and demo'd the kg 5.2's...loved it...and we brought it home...i was about 17? maybe younger.....

cool thread... i actually met arnold swarchenegger today at the convention center.... jamie foxx a few years ago at the memorial auditorium..when he was on tour doing stand up... chris webber at the game....pf changs with tyra...and once drove right next to him on the freeway...(he probably thought i was stalking him) and john ritter and his family in maui at a thai restaurant a couple of months before he passed...

i dont think rex is dead...i think that psycho guy had something to do with that phone call...
