  1. bought a Defintive Technology Super Cube 1 to replace the M&K the Super Cube is a lot smaller and does sound very good with my Forte's
  2. the electronics on my MX90 went bad. build out the drivers. the are 16ohms and are a little different from each other in magnet size. both are 12". could these work in my Heresy ? suggetions on use.
  3. going back a few years, a guy I know has (had) laser discs. when he bought his pioneer unit, they gave him a movie demo disc it contained Spielberg movie clips from what i could tell and it was very good i had the guy transfer it to VCR tape for me and used it with Dolby Pro-Logic maybe someone has this and could transfer this to DVD ?
  4. my mini-Labradoodle, 13 months old now and about 13lbs too
  5. I did compare Forte to the Chorus at the time in 1996 (both II's), bought the Forte II's, more balanced sound overall and as mentioned better bass extension
  6. do not have DIY but can get it on-demand, only watched one episode so far it is was with Patrick Warburton, of the TV comedy series Rules of Engagement. he has an old barn turned into his area and they worked on it with all new electronics of course they utilized Klipsch Reference speakers all around
  7. Have Epson 8350 My first fp and I am impressed with the pj Also liked the price too
  8. Bella graduated from Puppy Kindergarten last Friday evening 6 training sessions took place and included play time which she enjoyed the most
  9. saw this on an e-mail from Home Theater Review that I get The Gallery series, which Klipsch is working to promote in light of the May release, is a set of slim speakers, designed to pair with flat-panel HDTVs. The series consists of four passive models and one iPod/iPhone-docking speaker that features AirPlay. The four passive models will be shipping in May. They are the G-12 ($199 each), the G-16 ($299 each), the G-28 ($499 each), and the G-42 three-channel soundbar ($699). The G-42 is a horizontal only model, but the other three can all be placed either horizontally or vertically. User will have to wait until fall for the AirPlay model, which will carry a price of $599.
  10. thanks for replies. will probably use my Heresy's for the Speakers
  11. was thinking of setting something up that can easily be moved into place when needed for this. the electronics would be on some kind of cart with the receiver and dvd player. the FP would be on a table and the screen would hang off my fence. have a manual pull down 64" for the screen. speakers just set on the side of the screen. so, anybody try something like this already?
  12. well did the second training class. I sat as an observer and my daughter took the training lead which she does very well with Bella. they thought the OFF command and Body Blocking to avoid an object they should not get too. Went over a good way to pickup and hold the puppy. SInce these are smaller dogs the technique might not apply to larger dogs. Play time is also part of the class and all the puppies enjoy it. there are five other puppies in the class and it it interesting on how they interact to each other. on puppy went home very early since she was barking way too much and would not stop. Bella had a very nice time and enjoyed herself. Looking forward to next time. Bella is not totally motivated by food to do her commands which is good. of course will take a treat if offered. likes cheerio's as a treat.
  13. "gothca" is holding onto the collar and the dog should not fuss or pull away and not get bothered by it. most of the time no one grabs the dog by the collar at all unless something is wrong so want them to get used to being held and it is OK tonight is round #2 for the training, will be my first time there. I missed the first session so my wife took Bella herself. looking forward to it. agree about the command thing, need to do it over and over and over again before they really get it. we did the "give me paw" thing a initially did it after a few tries. waited a few days and tried it again and she looked at us like what?
  14. no defined activities so far planned. working on getting the yard puppy proof. getting a fence installed and some yard work done. should be ready for her to run around soon. working on simple commands, sit, stay, gothca, and down. does very well with sit and down. not too keen on the stay part and does not like the gothca thing at all. Bella likes her freedom.
  15. yes, the breeder did tell us she would not get big, that is what we wanted her mom was only 13lbs and the dad was 25lbs, she was one of the smaller ones in the liter
  16. I do not know of any dogs lately that have not already been neutered when one purchases them
  17. Playback, was there one in Ford City from what I recall. Anyone mention Pacific Stereo, was on on 95th street in Oak Lawn bought my first set of Speakers from Playback, a set of Utah's
  18. Bella did her first training class last Friday, was 5 other dogs that are also small, it went very well learned and also had fun her is a recent pic of her in a chair that is now hers from that original pic to now, she has grown, but is still small
  19. forgot to mention her name, it is Bella our little girl (Bella) is potty trained on the pee pads, goes there by herself and hits the mark (on the pad) very much all the time so no outside training yet she likes to pick out her own toys from the toy chest we setup, she knows what she likes not into the grooming thing yet, does not like to get brushed, so working on this every day and it is getting a little easier
  20. hey, i have one of those Hi Fi Hutch bags too as others mentioned, go to Simply Stereo and deal with Ken, he is the best to work with and will give you an honest price

  24. I use an Anthem MCA50 and a Yamaha RXV-2095 for a pre-pro the MCA50 made a difference in sound over just the AV receiver also no problems with bussing or grounding when using this amp which is a good thing had an Acurus 200x3 and this had issues with buzzing/grounding and did not sound good to me at all go for an Anthem
