  1. I think the Dragon thing was on the ship with them. I would have to watch it again to be sure but what made the ship crash? The Dragon thing?

I thought the Dragon thing was "mortally wounded" before it fell into the water drowning.

I thought his blaster washed downriver.

I understand making the spears for the other warriors so they would have a small chance to cover your back. The sword was just plain Hollywood Hero needs a impressive weapon.

  2. I love the title of numerous media articles " Should Mark Sanford resign?"

Hmm, lets see he did not just have a affair but had one with a woman in a country in South America.[:|] [:S]

Yeah he is a person who is the Govenor of a state and he mind is so messed up that he thinks he can have a affair with a woman who lives in another country. He should run for president he is just the man to run our country, not!

The lights are on but no ones home!!

  3. Sorry guys, I'm not put my 52" LCD on a LaScalla.

I would say your options are find a single split industrial La Scala, find a single La Scala and do what I did [:o],build your own single split La Scala.

Here is a pic of my tv on top of my split LS with a very crude grill cover. The middle of the screen is around 43 inches which sitting on my couch put the middle at my eyelevel.

I tried turning the La Scala on it's side before decapitating it but I did not like how it sounded. However it does not mean you would not like the way it sounds so that is a option also.

  4. "What Heritage speakers do you have and did you buy them new recently?"

I own 2 Cornwalls(older), two La Scallas(older), two hersey(older), several Klipsch bookshelfs and

Klipsch pc speaker systems. My problem, as you said, I have no room for a huge speaker

where my tv needs to sit at eye level. I guess I'll ponder the options.

What speakers do you use for the left & right of your home theater?

How much room do you have between your speakers and what height do you want the tv to be?

I like to be at eyelevel with the tv which it sounds like you do to.

I have a La Scala center channel that I bought off Ebay for $300 bucks. I cut off the top HF section[:o] and centered it under the tv with the LF section turned on it's side next to the HF section(not sure if you use the La Scalas as L&R for HT) and when I sit on my couch the middle of the screen is centered on my vision[Y]. If I had not done this the center of the screen would have been 58 inches high[N] and this is okay if you are about 15 feet back but I'm 10 feet back and it gives me a pain in the neck.

So there are alot of people on the forum who can either help you figure out which Heritage speaker will work best as a center channel or help you build a custom center channel.

  5. love Sc fi, but one set in the past? by the writer of Underworld, mmm

Yeah that is what I thought, very low expectations but turned out to be decent.

    Decent not Academy Award winner.

  6. Well saw Outlander on DVD and had very looooooowwwww expectations and it was actually decent.

I am not as good as Colin at reviews so

    Spaceships

    Alien Dragons

    Vikings

    fighting, death, destruction

like I said was not expecting too much but it was pretty good.

Give it a try Colin and you can give it a proper review![:D]

  7. Game 11

    LSU(14) vs Arkansas(5)

    [:'(]

I hope LSU wins it all.

Sorry DD but Texas pulled it off and made it the CWS but with LSU I am not sure they can do that. Texas will have to play two perfect games against LSU and I'm not sure they can.

  8. Al once you figure out what you are going to charge for a pair let me know. I have a pair of Fortes that later this year I'd like to try the crossovers.

I've been unemployed for the last 9 months and just started a new job so I don't have any money for anything right now. Later this year say Dec I hope to have enough for them.

  9. There may not be enough demand for a center channel Heritage speaker.

Even though the Heritage line makes great home theater speakers they have been marketed as 2 channel stereo speakers not home theater speakers, this may have changed now with LS IIs, Cornwall IIIs, Heresy IIIs.

Most people use either a Heresy, Cornwall, and La Scala. If space is a issue then I understand why something like a Academy/Horizontal Cornwall would be helpfull. I used 3 La Scalas up front with great results!

What Heritage speakers do you have and did you buy them new recently?

  10. The freedoms they want is exactly what you said "they are seeking such things as doing away with head veils, and the morality policing, and so on" which I believe to be basic freedoms that people have, to choose how to live their lives.

You look at the situation as Liberal vs Conservative and I look at it as a religous dictatorship vs people who want freedoms to live their lives the way they want or practice a religion the way they want. It is both of these.

Your right this happens in all the countries around the world wether it is politcal or religioius, I guess in many countries it is both. I look at it as the Old vs the new, ancient vs modern, etc especially in the Middle East. I guess this will go on thru out history.

  11. Yes those are very powerful photos from another very trouble area in the world.

I don't approve or dissaprove of your answer but it is about Iran and what is happening there.

It is interesting that you say they want liberalism first then freedom.

I think they want freedom and you want them to want liberalism.

The whole middle east is a very troubled and sad situation.

What do you think will happen to the middle east once oil is not longer used for energy?

  12. Hi JBL,

Judging by the words "Election" "Riot" and "Vote" and "Iranian" in the title, I'd call this a distinctly political post - wouldn't you too? Some of the comments posted within are also 100% political:

"Even if they don't get Mousavi in office the extremist have lost public support and the people want change. Sounds like a revolution!"

"However - it makes little difference who wins their elections as it is the Supreme Religious Counsel that really runs the country."

"Ahmadinejad may be a pretty unpleasant guy, but he's no Robert Mugabe or Kim Jong-il, either of whom would starve their citizens to stay in power while living like a king."

"Yup and the best kind fought for democracy."

Sounds very much to me like YOU and Mr. Fish ought NOT to have opened or read such an obviously blatent political post, so as you would not have been so horribly offended. Mr. Fish was so aghast at the sight, he had to take more time to post his own contribution!

Yes it is a post about elections, riots, voting in Iran and what the Iranian people are doing.

I agree with you they were very dumb statements.

MD what do you think about what the Iranian people are doing? Not what some US politicians have said or done but what do you think about this many Iranians facing possible arrest, some even being killed to display their disapproval of the election that just took place?

    What about the photos?
