Send it back and get a new one. They should send you a new pod if your still under warranty.

Dont worry so much just play them and have fun! ENJOY THEM!!!! You really dont have to keep them down the first 2 weeks breaking speakers in is not necessary. I mean you can if you want to but you really do not need to. Just dont turn them up as loud as they go for like a long long time but dont worry you wont blow the speakers if you turn them up a bit. Just have fun and enjoy those suckers Im sure your fall in love right away.

The z680s have more of a pounding sub get them.

Air coming out of the port. I mean i know it always comes out but when you have like your music really loud and can hear the air coming out it. I hate port noise!

The 2.1 sub is a 6.5" driver. Yes these speaks are a big step up from the logitechs you had. Get them and trust me you should be pretttttty damn pleased! Thats all I really have to say.

1 year on the klipsch 2 year on the logitech.

I doubt you have to be scared of not having that long warranty anymore. Just because that happened with the 5.1s doesnt mean it will happen to everything ya know. Plus klipschs has been great with me and my 5.1s my warranty has been up for awhile and even when they didnt have the extended 2 year warranty thing posted they sent me new sets free of cost. They really do treat you well.
