  4. Ok then, here it is. If you would be so kind as to place it in the text please do.
  5. Here it is, the new setup Panasonic - PT-50DL54 Denon - DVD-2900 Harman Kardon - AVR 330 Motorola - HD 5100 Elgato - Eyehome Klipsch - RF35's Klipsch - RC3II Klipsch - RSX5's SVS - PC Plus 20-39 Xbox
  6. Two that are standouts to me. And All That Could Have Been - Nine Inch Nails (DTS Version) Eyes Wide Open - King Crimson These will be all that you need.
  7. Anyone heard the new JL Audio subs for home theater application? To me their mobile subs rule, is that also the case with their home subs?
  8. Dude, Get it straight. A) She definitely cheated on you. It's obvious. The laaaast think you need at 18 and in college is a steading long-term relationship. Graze the pasture young buck. C) From the sound of it, neither one of you showed the maturity level necessary to be in the sort of relationship that you desire Remember: Despiration is the worst cologne
  9. In that price range your options are the 20-39 pci (cylinder) or pb1-isd (box). Both would match your system well, I think.
  10. Look into the SVS 20-39 PC Plus, or if you don't like the cylinder design try the PB2-ISD, which has dual-woofers. Either way you can't go wrong, both with destroy most comperably priced subs.
  11. If it was legit why wouldn't they just pay people, wouldn't that attract more folks? Plus, how is it free when you have to do some work by getting people to sign up for something. Let me reiterate, SCAM, NOTHING IS FREE
  12. 007, To me the HK 330 sounds great, and as a matter of fact I'm using the RSX-5's as rear surrounds and although I have to turn them way down, I think it is a good setup. They actually totally overpower my current floorstanding speakers which are not Klipsch. By the way, find a good price because the HK330 can be had on the cheap, got mine for around $450 when it came out, Im sure you can find it for $400 or better.
  13. Try replacing your optical cable as well, I dont know if it would help, but it couldn't hurt. I wil retest my HK 330 to make sure its not doing this.
  14. I must say that I may have jumped the gun on this one, and after reading more on it at avsforum it seems that there are a lot of good points related to the resolution and perception thereof, sorry to cause the uproar. My apologies, however, I think the topic is still interesting. Still wondering when the 74 series is coming out with the HD 2+ chip . Anyone?
  15. Check out this thread: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=2940b24d4bd34bf35233f7bedb318af1&threadid=429324&highlight=hlp+not+hd
  16. I have the AVR-330 and have had none of the problems that you speak of, what type of connection are you using?
  17. Well, the point is, for those of you who are reading their manual straight onto this forum, is that of course it says native resolution of 1280 x 720, but that doesn't mean it actually performs to that standard. Also it is my understanding that the HLN with the HD 2 come closer than the the HD 3, so the HLN may actually make it there while the HD 3 does not. Please understand, its not an attack, just an attempt at getting some informed dialogue going here. If its not resolving at HD levels then its just ED.
  18. Well, my information is that they list it as HD, but that it does not fully resolve at 1280x720 but at something less than that, unfortunately I dont have the acutal data, just a source that it can only resolve a 640x720 test pattern.
  19. For any of you interested in the new Samsung HLP DLP TVs, I heard a rumor that these are not acutually HD but fall into the ED TV range from those who have tested them. Anyone know anything about this revelation?
  20. How do you know the Vantage Point A Series will work? Even though it says "universal" i doubt they will, or do you know something I don't?
  21. Well, it seems just a matter with the Sanus' at least that the base needs to be wider and considerably heavier, as well as the base and cylinder connection needs to be improved. Of course this will increase the cost, but, who wouldn't pay $150 for stands that work vs. $100 for stands that worry you every day because they are so unstable. I talked with a research and development person at Sanus (weird huh) and he said they are currently working on a new stands for the RSX which would extend higher, which in turn should provide better stability at a lower height, however, I wouldn't hold your breath. I would recommend something pillar-like with the speakers on their factory short stands, Im now mounting. Chill
  22. Yes, they fit, however, they suck because they are very unstable. I bought the RSX-5s last christmas time, then the stands a while later after consultation with both Klipsch and Sanus. Both said they were a perfect match and that they have some sort of development agreement. Man was I disappointed, I have them on a have flat surface, and they are totally unstable. With the weight of the speakers the just dont work very well, massive tipage potential. If you really want to find out for yourself, I will sell you mine for 25 bucks plus shipping (a real bargain, hahaha). Hope the hype helps.
  23. Dont forget that if you have a DVI input on your TV, then you want to take advantage of it, so whatever DVD player you use, make sure it has a DVI output, its worth it.
  24. There is even a step between, you probably have an HD2 chip. This years models are an HD3 chip. However, apparently the HD2 + is an even better chip and the xHD3 is the mother of all, thats my understanding at least.
