Thanks. I guess mine are different? I figured production began in 1996 to 2001 so 2005 doesn't make sense as you said. They were purchased outside the US btw.

I purchased a pair of Klipsch Legend KL-20 speakers in 1999 and I always wondered the exact production date. At the back, there is a 9 digit (all numbers) serial number. Mine starts with 05XXXXXXX. Thoughts? Thanks
